Zombies!!! -What is your weapon of choice???

Given that I work in a cemetery, the threat of zombies has been discussed largely as an occupational hazard. I have concluded on several occasions that my weapon of choice is double machetes. If I can only get my hands on one, so be it. Sinlsln, I'm with you.
Note: Guns need ammo. Ammo can run out. A sheild would be too heavy to carry for extended periods. Dual machetes are lightweight, require no reload and can be used for blocking and attacking simultaneously.
Nice!

I'd have to go with this.
beat me to it! a Crovel is the best.0 -
Puff shrooms. Two of those and the whole back yard is safe.
I'd go with the Cold Steel War Hammer, although I don't have one (yet).
Edit: Grrrr Links don't work... http://www.coldsteel.com/warhammer.html
I do have an SOG Tomahawk and CS Kukri machete that would work in a pinch.0 -

According to the Zombie Survival Guide.. Shaolin Monks have been dispatching the undead for years with the Shaolin Spade
if it works for them.. itll work for me0 -
a light splitting maul would work for me... you probably wouldn't have time to get the fancy stuff, that is unless you have it allready.....:laugh:0

A modified Halberd (shorten the handle from 6 feet long to about 3 feet long)

Zombie warfare should be approached with careful consideration. When choosing the right weapons to defend yourself and your loved ones, or group against the incessant hordes of the living dead, you must consider a variety of variables.
But here is me

Scenario 1: Massive hoard of zombies creeping my way
Weapon of choice: pistol
Strategy: shoot weakest guy/girl in my group in the knees and run like hell
Scenario 2: Small cohort of zombies creeping my way (I am alone)
Weapon of choice: mace or other heavy but not too heavy melee weapon
Strategy: Coerce zombies into a bottleneck. Knock them off with head-blows one by one. The bodies falling will form a barrier and allow me to regroup after each blow.
Scenario 3: Small cohort of zombies at a distance
Weapon of choice: silenced sniper rifle
Strategy: strategically knock off zombies from a distance. Take bets from fellow survivors on how many I can hit with a single shot. I am very very good with long ranged weapons.
Scenario 4: Large hoarde of zombies at a distance
Weapon of choice: fully automatic rifle (not a shotgun)
Strategy: Knock off as many as possible. Try to form a barrier of bodies to slow them down. If they get too close, see Scenario 1.0 -
I'd take off my top to mesmerize them, then get out the old handcuffs, use them as knuckle dusters, one punch pierces the brain!

I would throw pineapples at their faces. And if this didn't work/I run out, I'll just flash them and try to mesmerize them with my boobies!!0 -
Def a machete or baseball bat as you don't have to reload them. Yes, that would mean having to be in close contact with them, but both can be a very effective weapon.
I love this thread!!!!0 -

So basically what I'd do!?!?0 -
<---- Katana swords on my back, because I travel light and move fast. I'll be running and looking for other well-armed zombie fighters, especially others that share my mad ninja skills.0

i just have to run faster than the slowest guy, right?
lol ^0 -
Diplomacy is my strongest quality, followed by running. And if all else fails, gimme a Claymore. They'll never take my freeeeeedom!0
