    That war hammer would be a good choice. You can deliver a piercing blow or a crushing blow. Sometimes you dont want something that will stick in the zombie's head. If there's a lot of zombies around, you will be overpowered while trying to remove it from the first zombie you kill.

    A good sharp sword would probably be my second choice.

    If the resupply wasn't an issue, I'd go for a good full-size pistol or submachine gun.

    Of course I would be traveling in a titanium hamster ball, so I probably wouldn't need any weapons except for when I got out of the ball to eat or poop.

    Here's my choice- halligan tool... good for opening doors and splitting zombie heads.

    The Crovel is also a solid choice.

    If they were fast and traveled in packs I'd go for a sawed-off halberd - that crovel also looked sweet.

    Thinking of items I have here now, I'd grab my Grandpa's weeder:

    Slower or singles? A spear and an atlatl. We got to practice with one during a nature outing and I think I could do well (speared a fake buffalo at 150 yards :)

    It's an absolutely great drama and soap opera for men. As far as a how to manual...perhaps a cautionary tale of generally what NOT to do. How has that band of emotionally driven, hypersensitive, idiots managed to survive this far when everything else has fallen? Oh yeah, it's fiction!
