My staples every week no matter what the dinner menu is are: baby spinach, Greek yogurt, bananas, whole grain bread, oatmeal, and some kind of whole grain wraps/pita/tortillas.

fresh herbs - that is a requirement

variety of fresh vegetables - thank goodness my husband enjoys them as much as I do

Seltzer water (nothing on the nutritional label, no sodium variety) - very refreshing

BULK lean proteins... I prefer to do the 'cleaning and prepping' because the costs in purchasing whole foods are actually MUCH MUCH cheaper... and I can make the necessary cuts that I need for meal planning
