    Never say never. Age and maturity rarely go hand in hand. I dated a guy 13 years older than me for YEARS, and my husband who is 6.5 years younger is WAY more mature and has his act more together than the older guy. It just depends on the specific person. Age is just a number!

    Im 19 and i tend to for lads a few years older than me.. I dont know why but i guess i just feel safer with someone a little older. =/ . when i was 17 i dated a 29 year old!! Soo 12 years older! Was the biggest mistake of my life, and i wouldnt ever go back to an age gap like that! Especially as i was soo young, i got taken advantaged of quite a bit, soo i had to end the relationship.

    My husband is 9 months younger than I am. He calls me his "cougar". hahaha

    I was also married to a man who was 12 years older than I was (I was 45 at the time). He couldn't keep up with me and it would have only gotten worse.

    I agree, younger is where it's at for the keeping up reason!

    I'm 26, I don't date younger guys and I tend to date guys 5-10 years older than me.

    My husband is 11 months younger than I am and when we met I thought he was much younger, so much so I almost refused to date him. We've been together going on 6 years.

    My current husband is 6 years older than me, my last husband was 11 years older than me. I have dated guys a year younger, 6 years, 11 years and 16 years older than me. Their age does not matter to me as much as how they treat me and their maturity level. Although I wouldn't date a guy a LOT younger than me (10 or more years).

    I've always dated guys that were 2-5 years older than me... Oddly enough, my husband is younger than me... By 1 month!!! LOL.. He calls me a cougar.. My birthday is in Feb and his is in March...

    Well I do have a motto in regards to that :): 18 to 80 blind, cripple or crazy...and if they cant walk, I will tow them :) ....that should narrow it down :)

    I found over and over again that age does not always predict maturity.

    However, with few exceptions I have been attracted to older men.

    I used to always date older guys. Usually a couple of years older. Hubby is the first younger guy I have been with and it's fine with me!

    I think it all depends on the man. I have dated men 10-15 years older than me that were immature children and vice versa. The man I'm currently with is only 3 years older than me (32) and it's the best relationship I've ever had. :flowerforyou:

    My husabnd is 3 yrs and 364 days older than me and prob would never date younger just cause I wouldn't want to hold that age thing over my head. Just a thought. :wink:

    Siggy is 5 years younger. But he's quite a bit more mature than my ex who was 5 years older.

    I'm almost three months older than my husband. We look good for our age. We've been together for over 28 years. I always liked dating people my age when I was a teenager. No more than five years older and two years younger.
    If I was single now, because it's hard to tell people's ages, I think I would be attracted to anyone that was ten years younger up to five to ten years older.

    I am 21 and my husband is 24. I have always found myself attracted to older men, my husband is the youngest I've ever been attracted too! Idk why.

    But it always depends on the person, I knew guys that were 10 years apart in age and the younger one would be more mature and responsible, always depends on how they were brought up and what happened to them.
