NSV

Well it's an NSV that may translate to a scale victory too! I woke up this morning feeling tired and sluggish after a day of indulging for Christmas. While I stuck to my calorie goal I ate things higher in processed sugars, had a few drinks and barely any water and I think this may have contributed to my less than spritely mood. By early afternoon I'd browsed the MFP message boards and found the motivation to head to the gym. I normally only weigh in one a week first thing in the morning at the gym, pre-breakfast but I couldn't help myself... I wanted to KNOW the damage. Much to my surprise I was only 900g heavier than my last weigh in 2 days ago! Given that 1) I had a big day in terms of high salt/low water yesterday and 2) I am normally heavier mid day post meals and water I actually did a little dance about weight gain! Here's hoping I'll be in for a good weigh in next Saturday!

On another note, I'm also feeling better after increasing my calories from 1200 to 1500/day. I only had 100g loss this past week and I wondered if it was because I was restricting myself too much. Will have to wait and see what the scales think
