 SAMARA  ..... easy to spell, easy to say, means Guarded by God. And I don't mind sharing with you. Its my daughters name and she is now 20yrs old and I'm proud of her. She is not so good to be boring not so bad that I want to disown her. I thought the name would get shortend to Sam but only 2 people ever have and one called her Mara.

Just for the record, the most successful men in history have been names John, George and William, James and Richard, among a few others. Just as the most successful women have been names Kathryn, Elizabeth and Helen (among several others.) Jack and Chris are considered lucky names. Ryan, James and Jack are considered names of attractive people. Just a bit of trivia.

My friend jut had a son and they named him Bostrom, their daughter is named Colbie.

I like: Emily/Emilia, Hannah, Sophia, Olivia, Natalia, Natasia,-those types of names for girls.

My sister calls me Emberly after a character in an Edward Gorey book, so I'm partial to that name as well.

In my opinion different is nice, but you need to pick something suitable for both a child and an adult, and nothing that will get them picked on. But what do I know? I've only ever named cats (Bullet, Lily, and Megatron).

My seventeen year old daughter is Anna Michelle. It has suited her from day one and I don't think it will ever go out of style.

It is an elegant feminine name for an elegant feminine young lady!

From time to time you will hear "Annie Banannnie!!! " but otherwise it is pretty elegant!

Maybe you should ask your son to name her, you may be surprised!

I was surprised my son came up with the name Jayna for our daughter, and it stuck!

Well, my family likes unusual names for girls. My DD is Dakota, my niece is Kylee, and my cousin named her daughter Harley. I went to school with a girl whose unusual name I loved.....Ansley.

I love Ansley! That name reminds me of The West Wing.

I'll add my vote for the "Sophia/Sophie" camp.

Lily is another one I like.

My name is Lisa, and it's treated me pretty well for 32 years!
