Sorry I wasn't able to post this yesterday but I am sure you can understand why. Sorry for the typo in the topic this challenge is 12/26-1/1

Welcome everyone to the 3500+ calories burned challenge. This is a weekly challenge to meet 3500+ calories burned, it is open to everyone. You set your own calorie goal for the week. Each day post the calories you burned, current total and how many you have to go. That's it, not too hard, other then push push pushing yourself to hit your goal. Everyone is such an inspiration on this challenge. Keep up the good work for the people returning and welcome to the newbies.

  • Gotta burn off the 4 pounds I gained this holiday :[ from 116 to 120.

    Goal: Lose 5 pounds within a month

    Monday: sports conditioning class (one hour)
    Tuesday: walking (45 minutes)
    Wednesday: Tabata (1 hour)
    Thursday: Tabata (1 hour)
    Friday: Body combat (1 hour)
    Saturday: Running (5 miles)
    Sunday/New Years: Body pump (1 hour)

    Time to get back into the routine!

  • I think I may be waaay off on my calories burned. Between MFP and what the machine says I just don't know! I'm looking into getting a HRM after joining this challenge, so that's a good side effect of signing up!

    I found that MFP and the machines at the gym were much higher than my actual burn after I got my Polar FT7 HRM - it was the best health-related purchase I've ever made. Congrats on committing to the challenge and getting accurate counts!
