Sugarless gum: what's another option?

I have read a few places that chewing sugar free gum can cause gut bloat. I am trying to limit my sugar intake, but I need something to quickly freshen my breath after meals/coffee. Any suggestions? I am a teacher, and i am sure the students don't want to smell my stinky breath. Mints?

(This is the only "sugar free" thing I consume.)

Pick one sweetened with xylitol instead of the other stuff. The brand I use is called Spry.

What about those breath freshener sprays.
I've never used them, but there are plenty out there :)

I chew sugarless gum throughout the day, daily. I have never noticed stomach bloat? I imagine it can depend on the person. Does it cause you to bloat? If not, then I wouldn't change anything.

    Brush your teeth after lunch?
    Mouthwash after lunch?
    Hot Peppermint Tea?
    Listerine Breath Strips?

I definitely have issues with my stomach, which I am starting to really work on. I would brush my teeth, but I don't really have time. I am leaning towards Altoids as long as they don't have artificial sweeteners in them.
