    Short term is to lose 30 lbs by my Las Vegas Trip in March.

    New here, and this is my first post. I'm 5' 1/2" and my goal weight, for now, is 130. Back in my college days, I was about 110 and looked too skinny. Ultimately I'd love to be in the 115-125 range, but I'll be thrilled if I hit 130. My starting weight was 200 lb (my heaviest), my current weight - after 1 week - is 199 lb.

    5ft 1 and cw is 122. I'm a small build so my gw would be somewhere between 110-115. I have weighed as low as 102 but that was really too skinny for me.
  • I am 4'11", shot up to 165 in the fall of 2011, dropped 7 lbs. and am maintaining 158 now. I'd like to get down to 135. I don't want to lose rapidly. Losing a minimum of 1 lb. per month and keeping it off would be OK with me. To do that I will have to learn to change my eating habits permanently. I have recently joined a fitness club, exercising in classes there 60 minutes 5 days per week - aerobics, water aerobics, Zumba Gold, hydro dancing (disco dancing in the water). I walk briskly 60 minutes the other 2 days. I joined myfitnesspal.com in December. It is a great help. I would like to eat 1200 calories per day but usually consume 1600-1800. I still like something sweet after meals. I am on a low acid diet as well. I went 4 sessions to a hypnotist for a jump start in November and that took off the 7 lbs. That therapy would work if I listened at least once a week to the CD's of the sessions she gave me. My incentive is that I notice my blood pressure is increasing - as well as growing out of my fat clothes and having trouble tying my shoes. It would be fun to feel like a "babe" again, even if I have gray hair.

    5'1" and at the moment, 145lbs. My body feels kind of comfortable at that weight and doesn't require a lot of effort to maintain. I gained all the extra because of health issues. We'll see how things go, if I can get back down to the 120's then so be it!

    Hi! I'm 5'1 too- CW is 140ish (SW 142- the inches are dropping faster than the stubborn lbs)
    My goal is 120, give or take 5 lbs- like others have said, I'll see how it goes when I get to that general vicinity.

    5'3 - my goal is 118, but a more achievable goal, in the next 3 months is 140!

    I'm almost 5'2" and currently 130 (down from starting weight of 135) -- I feel and look my best between 118-120. More than that, the blood sugar and cholesterol creep up. Less than that, I feel tired. I got down to 114 a couple years ago (after surgery) and while it was nice to be "20 years younger" thin for a while, it felt too skinny.

    I am 5'1" and my goal is 110 lbs.

    I have been there before after having my kids (ive done it twice). It only took about four months to do it and that is the time frame I have now. Last year I was 165-170 (not exactly sure since I would not get on a scale). Now I am at 155 so i have a long way to go.

    I am 5'2" and my goal weight for right now is 150 but eventually once I hit 150 i would like to get down to 120-130.

    i'm 5'2", and my goal is about 165lbs. i have no idea how that will look, and i'll re-evaluate when i get there. i'm currently 178lbs (down from 230). it's difficult trying to say a goal weight- i've always been a chubber and i'm the smallest now that i've been in my adult life. so a goal weight is a bit of a difficult thing to pinpoint because it's all uncharted territory!

  • 5'1 here & I am aiming for between 110 - 115. Started at 178lbs 6 months ago & am currently 138lbs, seems like I have been there for ages, what with Christmas & b'days over the last month. Hopefully I can get back on track now they are all over with for a while.

    im five foot tall and i originally started way back in jan 2010 at 158.8lbs. i weigh 136.6 now and have a GW of 115. however i definitely wanna stay curvy so if im at 120 and satisfied with the way i look so be it.

    sounds crazy for me to say but i love my curvy hips, butt and thighs (i used to HATE them but ive grown to love them). i just wish they were more toned along with my arms being slimmer and my stomach being flatter.

    #s used to be a BIG deal to me. they still are but im starting to get to the way of thinking as long as i look good and im not at a weight that classifies me as overweight, so what if im 125lbs?
  • I am 5'2" and my goal is 135. That is what I weighed in the past when I was a size 6. That sounds high for a size 6, but I have quite a bit of muscle.

    When I was a size 2 with more muscle than I have now, I weighed 130 pounds, so I think muscle is a significant factor

    . I am totally at peace with the fact that I will never look like a "stick". Even at a size two with a lot of muscle, I still had a "bubble butt". I also was so lean that you could see the striations of muscle in my shoulders and had six pack abs, but on the back of my thighs, there was STILL a little bit of cellulite. Some things we just have to come to terms with. :) Good luck!

    133lbs which is higher than recommended but I can maintain that once there. Ive 33lbs to lose but I'm going to tackle it in half stone chunks.

    Im 5'1 and I want to get to 135-ish and see from there. I have huge boobs so it also depends on how much of them I lose too :)
