      Because after 9 years of marriage and recently going through a divorce, I now have a man who treats me better than I could have ever imagined. It took all the nerve I had to finally get myself and my son out of an abusive marriage. If you are abused (physically, emotionally and/or verbally) please know it does NOT have to be that way. There is better ....and it's waiting just around the corner!! Take that leap of pride in yourself and go get it!

      I did a six pack for Christmas challenge with some other MFP buddies and this was the update photo - it's still a work in progress though.

      Looking at it daily, firstly I still can't believe it's me because this time 18 months ago I was 34lbs heavier, much higher BF% and not terribly fit at all...but the picture keeps my focus not to overeat as well.
