What are some of your "go too" breakfast's that you feel good about eating?
My latests is millet cereal:
Brown millet in pan with a little butter, at 3parts water to 1part millet (I usually do 1/2c millet 1.5c water) cook it like you do rice.
scoop it into a bowl, and top with raisins, coconut flakes and milk delicious and nutritious

Greek yogurt, oatmeal with brown sugar/cinnamon/raisins/nuts, egg whites and turkey sausage, or a Naked or Bolthouse Farms juice.0

2 eggs, 1/2 cup egg whites, 5oz ground turkey, nuke in microwave for 3 minutes
top with 1/2 mozzerella cheese and 2-3 tbsp salsa

Plain aul' porridge with sliced banana and a sprinkling of Splenda, with a cup of green tea (different fruit flavour each day) on the side.
May go bonkers this weekend and have a rasher or 2. :P0 -
1 apple & 1 banana in pieces, 1 cup of skimmed milk and 30 grams of oats. Boil for a few minutes until it makes a cream. A lot of cinnamon powder on the top!0

sounds borring but cereal (usually multigrain cheerios or the fiber one 80 cal honey things...) with unsweetened vanilla almond milk and nequick (I do not like the taste of any milk but like a typical female add choclate and I will eat it!0

I've been eating Holy Crap! for breakfast a lot lately: organic chia, hulled hemp hearts, buckwheat, dried cranberries, raisins, apple bits, and cinnamon. Mix one serving (two tablespoons) with unsweetened vanilla almond milk, and sometimes put some fresh fruit on top. More filling that you'd imagine!0

Welll I work nights..so my breakfast varies...lol
Today I had homemade veggie soup with shredded chicken..warmed my soul and a nice amount of protein....0 -

Ha pretty much the same as mine.
I love porridge, I use half a banana (I think a full one would make up most of my daily sugar intake!) and some sugar free strawberry jam sometimes, along with a cup of green tea! I'll swap the fruit around every so often, depends on what I have at home really!
Sometimes I'll have an Egg Khagina (south Asian scrambled eggs with tomato, onion, chilli and anything else you fancy) with a slice of toast.
When it comes to cereals I like Weetabix or a store brand version.
and if I can't be arsed, toast/bagel with jam or a fruit salad.0 -

1/4 avocado
1/2 cup egg beaters
1/2 cup fresh spinach
Open the pita and spread the avocado on the sides. Cook the egg, either omelet or scrambled. Put half the spinach in the pita, put the egg in the pita, put the other half of the spinach in the pita. EAT!

I like 1 cup blueberries, 1 strawberry personal size greek yogurt (150 cal), 1/4-1/2 spinach, and 3/4ish cup water. Blend,mmmmm like dessert smoothie for breakfast. Then later in the morning have Maple and Brown Sugar Quaker oatmeal packs! Yum!
Also cut hole in slice of wheat bread, put on top of foil on baking sheet, moisten bread with milk (skim, nonfat) crack egg into hole, salt and pepper, a little light sour cream in small dollops on top. Bake at 350 F until yoke is desired doneness (10-20 min). Warm, fairly low cal super delish and how you are supposed to start your day :protein and fiber!0 -
usually:

1 tbsp whipped cream cheese
1 bagel thin (110 cals)
and occasionally I'll slap a slice of canadian bacon on there too for some extra protein
if im lazy like today:
1 packet of quaker weight control oatmeal, usually cinnamon.0 -
I'm going to try huevos rancheros tomorrow, if I'm hungry. :bigsmile: Usually, I end up eating yogurt and a piece of fruit. Cereal is not really my thing because it's early in the morning :yawn: and frankly, I don't want to get up and immediately have to start measuring things lol. Today I didn't eat anything because I woke up not hungry, so we shall see tomorrow.0

fruit smoothie with 100% whey protein mix0 -
40g of porridge oats, a splash of skim milk to cover them up (about 150ml) when it's cooked add 1/2 a tsp of brown sugar, a handful of raisins and 1/2 a teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Absolutely delicious!0
