Congratulations on meeting such an amazing goal. Running races is such a motivator and it looks like you took to it in spades. Nice work!0

You're an inspiration! I had the same idea, I'm signing up for a marathon this year. It costs $150 and there's no way I'm going to let that go to waste.0

Just wanted to give an update.
I have gained about 12 lbs back, I believe it is because while I am training for the Derby Festival Marathon on the 28 of April. I need way more carbs than I was eating when I was losing the 100 lbs. When I finish the race I plan to get back on the old lower carb eating plan. I feel really good and all my clothes are still fitting real good, so although I have gaind a few lbs back I am still the same size.

Wonderful job and glad that you included God in your journey for with Him ALL things are POSSIBLE! I too am striving to be down a total of 100lbs at the end of this year. I began this year pregnant but after giving birth only 4 weeks ago, I am already down 40 lbs. I only have 66 more to go by December 31, 2012. I know that I can do it and thank you for sharing your story. Please keep me in your prayers. I also desire to enter several 5ks. Because of you, I will search out any local half marathons as well. Thanks for the encouragement. God bless you and your family!0
