I'm just wondering as I'm nearing my first goal of 140 and wasn't sure what a good weight to go for was?

My goal is 125.
I seem to be stuck at 137.2 right now though.0 -
It depends on your frame and your fitness goals. If you're trying to get athletic and muscular, you'd shoot a bit higher than someone that just wants to slim down. The healthy range listed on this site for a 5'4" woman is anywhere from 107-145. So 140 would be in the healthy range, but you also have to take bodyfat% into consideration b/c even in a healthy BMI it's still possibly to have an unhealthy bodyfat%.
Anyway I'm 5'4" and my final goal is 125 b/c that's nicely in the middle of the healthy range and I felt it was realistic and not extreme for me based on my past experiences. Different people can have different goals. I'm only 7 lbs away from my goal weight but I feel like I need to focus more on lowering my bodyfat and less on the number on the scale at this point.0 -
I am 5' 4" and when I first joined the gym and met with the personal trainer, I was given an optimal weight for my height and age as 133lbs. That is what I am working towards.

I'm 5'4, and my goal as of now is 140, but anywhere from 110-140 is a good weight for this height. When I was in high school I barely hit 120 and I was happy at that weight, but even at 140 I was happy and healthy.0

My goal is 118, currently at 1260

I am now at 206. I am normally 149 ( which is the highest the doctor will let you go at my height 5 foot 4.5 inches). I was always in great shape and excellent health at that weight. My goal is to get down to 140-145 so I have room to play with. MFP suggest I be 145. When I drop below 140 pounds my head looks way to BIG for my body. Anyway, I am also concerned with my size probably more than my wieght.
Good luck0 -
My first goal is to get to 140. I'd like to get to 120 -130 overall though. but right now I'm just working toward getting into the 140's.... I have a ways to go!0

Well I want to get to 140 first. I am 186 today. As I get a little closer to my goal I will re-evaluate.0

I'm 5'4" and went from 193 to 133 in a year. Now I'm at 130 and still losing a pound every 2 weeks or so, but losing inches like crazy! The fat is still coming off but I'm replacing it with muscle almost pound-for-pound. I think I will probably "bottom-out" at 125 or so, based on how much strength training I do.0

I was 218 lbs at my heavest Im 192 lbs now and was 195 when I started on here my goal is 150 lbs at least0

i'm 5'4'' as well and my current goal is 135lbs. i think the weight range for our height is topped out at about 140 so anything around there or a little lower...i don't see a single thing wrong with!!0

I am 5"4" also my goal is 135lbs. When I was that weight, that is when I felt at m very best.0

For my height I was told by numerous Dr's that my ideal weight is 125... I am hoping for 1300

I'M 5'4" and small boned. My goal is about 107 and I've skyrocketed up to 120 the last few years. I'd like to lose 10-13 lbs but would settle for losing inches.0

5'2" my goal is 119-117, I am 5 pounds away. My first goal was 125, and then122....hopefully the new goal works0

I'm 5'4" and am shooting for 128. I'm currently 138, it seems like those last 10 pounds are the hardest to lose! I think anywhere from 115 to 145 is a good place to be0
