Would love to know what everyone's favorite low calorie or low fat snack is to help ease those cravings. I am a BIG popcorn lover and found that the individual 100 calorie bags are not that bad at all and satisfies me!!

I'm not a big snack person so usually it's a cup of coffee or tea for me
But if I needed something here are a few things I might grab:

    hummus, pita, and veggies
greek yogurt with berries (and honey)
    protein shake or smoothie
    hard boiled egg
    crackers and laughing cow wedge
    babybell cheese and fruit salad
apples with pumpkin pie spice and a little melted peanut butter

Air popped popcorn, baby carrots, and cucumbers. Those have really helped me. Especially the popcorn. It's kind of a filler.

An orange, sliced, with cinnamon on top. You have to try it to believe how good it is.
  • Yogurt can be had for under 100 cal
I like the hunts or foodlion brand sugar free jello, hunts is 10 cal and the foodlion is 5 cal.
A stick of celery with peanut butter, although I'm not sure if that is under 100 cal with the peanut butter.
    Hummus with pretzel sticks.

Dannon Light and Fit Diabetic Friendly Yogurt. It only comes in two flavors, though. Strawberry and Vanilla.
Still it is wonderful at 50 cal. / 3 carbs.

A salad with any dressing from Walden's Farms. (0 cal dressing)

Raw almonds. 6-7 is about 45 cals. 15 is about 90.
  • I really like salsa on top of Wheat Thins or on top of celery. I also love string cheese!

Where do you get this at? I've never seen it before, I've been looking for a lower sugar/carb yogurt.
  • I found this yogurt....Source Yogurt - Desserts. Lemon Meringue, Cherry Cobbler, and 2 other flavours that I can't think of right now. 35 calories. And really good. I like their exotic line as well.

Kind of surprised nobody's tossed Cottage Cheese out there yet. A serving is 90 cals and an awesome dose of protein. You can combine it with lots of fruits, cereal, and even toast. Lots of ways to jazz it up if you don't like it plain.
