I'm on Day 8. It does get better although I'm still on level 1 and don't know how long it's going to take me to get past that level.0

Im on level 2 now...It's KILLER. Def harder than level 10
-
I've done it before, but started again this morning! Love it.0

I love 30 Day Shred!! The first time I did it I lost 2 pant sizes. I just started it again and am on Day 3. I'm so surprised that I can do all the moves and not want to quit like the first time I did it. Keep it up! It's amazing what your body can do!0

I did it from Nov-Dec and just started another round -- it is definitely a great workout and WILL change your body drastically if you eat clean!0

I failed miserably the first time around. On my 2nd attempt at level one and I'm determined to stick with it this time. I also bought her fitness adventure for kinect yesterday and while it doesn't feel as intense at first, because there is so much stopping and starting, some of the workouts are intense and do kick your *kitten*. You can customise your own workout and their are alot more excercises to choose from too0

what is the 30 day shred?0

I did it for 20 days... picture on my page of my results. Crazy how good it works. i lost 15lbs and over 15 inches all over. But I switched to her 6week6pack video an p90x now. I just rotate them two. Good luck... it does get easier0

30 day shred is Jillian Michaels workout videos. There are 3 levels. I did level 1, third day this morning. It really gets you moving in the morning.0

Bought it yesterday...0

I would like to do it but I'm really overweight (320pounds) and am worried I'll have a heart attack if i try! Are there any other 'bigger' people that have done it?0
-
I just bought it yesterday. Wish me luck! :drinker:0

I just finished day 7 of level one! I've noticed I "feel" firmer all over and can actuall tell I am smaller in the waist. I plan to do 10 days of each level... I'm a little afraid of level two, haha! If any of you would like to add me as a friend please do! I'm recently back to MFP and could use some more friends.0

Day 2 level 1 for me. I tried a few months ago and failed miserably...but now I am back and trying harder to stay with it!
Quick question...what weight of hand weights does everyone use?? I am using three pounds, which feels like 10 by the time I am finished!0 -

I use a variety of different weights depending on the move! Sometimes just a single 5# weight (like for the side lunges in level 1, I am SO weak in that part of my body that one 5# is about all I can do), sometimes two 8#ers, but usually two 5#ers.0 -
I'll be done with level one on Friday. It is amazing, but I can't wait to start level 2!0

I just did day 2 today So killer!0

Just finished day 1! I feel the same about mine and they are 3 as well. I'm curious about that AND how do you log it under exercise?0 -
I'm on level 1 day 8 and I'm determined to stick with it through the 30 days!
I use 5lbs for everything except for the dumbbell row and the chest flys. For those 2 moves, I use 8lb weights.0 -
Im going to start it tonight Im really excited to actually peel the wrapper off of it lol0
-
great job!! days 1 and 2 are the worst. you can do it!!
level2 day2 here...dont get discouraged!!! keep doing it, and dont be upset if you gain a couple pounds at first. it's water weight helping repair your muscles. It happened to me, but fell off once i wasnt sore.
edited to add: i used 2.5lb water bottles as weights...even today. this afternoon i bought 5 lb weights...so ill see how smart that was tomorrow.0 -

I just started today too! It was intense but I can't wait until I'm better at it!0

day 1 level 1 for me was yesterday! and after I finished I passed out sleep and woke up around 8 am this morning! It was so draining!! I am in so much pain today in my thighs, it hurts to move and walk down the stairs! But alas I need to push through the pain and go for day 2 as I really want to stick with it! Glad to hear it gets better!0

My legs are so sore!!!! Haha!!!
You log it as circuit training, general. The calories burned is pretty accurate.
I bought 2 lb walking weights to start with.
Just trying to hit everyone's questions!!! Thanks all for the replies!! Good to know I am not the only one kicking my own *kitten*!!!0 -
You should try Zumba you can change the intensity to what suits you. go to getwithit.com or org not sure which one and see if anyone offers classes in your area or buy a video off ebay. I find it easier to go to a class you have support there. I have a firend that weighs more than you and she does Zumba with me:) You will Love it!0

I'm trying it today for the first time. I'm hoping to acquire some new muscles.0
