This is great! I will make it for my baby's 1st birthday that way I don't have to worry about so many ingredients causing an allergic reaction.

why does everyone keep typing "bump"?
Sounds good, did anyone try it in the oven yet, instead of the microwave?

Has anyone found any mixes yet that actually do add up to 42 calories? Sugar free maybe?

    Tried it and love it!
But when I looked up my ingredients it came up 105 calories. I used angel food cake and regular choc. cake mix, did I do something wrong?

You're right! I made some this week too. It was delish, but my version turned out to be over 100 calories too. I think it depends on the brand you use. It's still worth it to me.

Is the calorie count on the cake mix box taking into account the oil and egg that usually goes into the cake? If so, that would raise the count if we go by the calories listed on the box...

    EDIT:

Nope. I made one with Lemon Supreme cake mix and it came out to 109 calories per serving IF there are in fact 34 servings in the bag of 2 cake mixes. Oh well :) It's still worth it!
