I am from the UK and I used to do it all the time. I command you to get a candle and do it.
Also to the Americans here, what biscuits should you use for smores? I had them made for me once and I'd like them again!0 -
Oh yess! So so good!0

bugs = protein, would be a more balanced meal then0 -

and the dog wee could be as effective as HCG!0 -
Yep, it was always routine after a BBQ when we were little. Mmm, marshmallows lol0

Yep, then put it between to digestive biscuits.0

Yeah, nearest we have to graham crackers, right?0

:noway: Never??
Wow. You've missed so much gooey, marshmallowey goodness!!
And something I've picked up from my American cousins...smores. A-mazin0 -
When I was a kid I did a couple of times. We had a coal fire so it was easy. I thought it tasted like ice cream. :happy:0
-
Done it a few times in the Cubs/Scouts when I was younger.0

I love toasting marshmallows! It's a barbecue staple. After you've finished your MEAT, you need barbecued bananas and toasted marshmallows on skewers.0
-
never had this either - but you all make it sound so appealing!!0

Of course, and they're nowhere near as many calories as you'd think. One Barratts "Flump" is only 30 calories and cut into sections that's more than enough once it's all toasty and melted, YUM!
Often did it when I was a kid when I made campfires, and I still take marshmallows when I'm camping somewhere that allows fires.
As for the "dog wee covered stick" - you do whittle the end down with a knife, so you have a point to spear the marshmallow on!0 -
I'm a brit.
Get on it! your missing out!0 -
I have as a guide in the 1980's.0
