Morning!
So last night I was having a lazy night....didn't work out, watching tv.....THEN I felt terrible...thought of bikini's and went for a jog :happy: felt so much better.
How did everyone else make out with working out yesterday? Do you have a routine you follow..or do you change it up everyday????

I have a routine, but I'm heavy enough that I'm a bit limited in what I can do. I did a mile and a half walk before breakfast, then after breakfast, my mom and I went for about three miles. This morning, it was raining, so I jumped on the stationary bike for half an hour before breakfast.0

Yesterday was one of those days I knew I would go over my calorie intake so I logged them all in beforehand in the AM, and sure enough was over by 450 calories!:noway:
Sooo, I hit the gym before going home and made sure not to leave until I burned off more than that!:laugh: Ran 2.5 miles and hit the elliptical hard for about 15 minutes and that did the trick! Felt so much better and was able to enjoy the rest of the night!0 -

so here i am 33, 6'1 and 190 lbs. i would like to get down to at least 170. i was well on my way starting with MFP in january until april - lost 10 pounds and was feeling really great. then - wham! - i got stuck in a not so healthy rut and i am back where i started
its all my fault, really. but i have big plans i tell ya! :drinker: i got the 30 day shred and plan on shredding it starting monday. i know that is a typical saying, but i really have a ton of things going on this weekend and i wont be able to start before then. i did the shred a couple times and it kicked my butt! then i hurt my knee and have been a bit lazy ever since...im on a shred thread and i think they are going to hunt me down! :indifferent:
my goal was to slim down again by june 22nd (i am working at a charity golf tourn with a bunch of skinny mini 20-somethings :grumble: ) so we'll see how i do in the next two weeks. i dont think i will be nearly where i want to be, but if i could drop a few by then i can imagine stopping!
you all know how its not easy to find great jeans...well i have at least 8 pair in my closet that i cannot get into. plus my boobage is waaaay more than id like it to be, so hopefully with diet and excercise i can shrink a bit. :smokin:

Looking at the thread with the husband talk. My husband is the same height as me. I have dated shorter and taller but as they say, everyone is the same height laying down!
I met my husband in a chat room. We started talking and it progressed. It will be our 5th anniversary in September. Don't let your size hold you back from meeting someone. He loved me 50 lbs ago. He has lost 56 lbs on MFP and I loved him 56 lbs ago!0 -

Yesterday was such a bad day for exercise plus I went over my calories because I was cutting up fruit and could not stop picking at it. I normally workout in the morning but I woke up 45 minutes late so I didn't have time. I normally do abs and upper body tuesday/thursday and legs Mon/wed/fri but this morning I did both routines to make up for yesterday. I was totally wiped.0 -

Thanks, Over the years I've lost weight l got down to 225 when I got married 3 years ago then I gained weight after I got married which is my current weight. I lost my first weight going to curves and working out. This time around I started MFP in may and I've lost 7 pounds so far using this site! think I'll actually get down to My goal of under 200.

Didn't do too bad over the weekend, but was not feeling well, so I didn't move much at all. I feel better so far today, and plan to go out for chinese lunch with former coworkers. Have a happy Monday, everyone!0

I did the opposite of overindulge on Sunday. I had a banana for breakfast then went to the movies. My boyfriend and I normally get lunch to take in with us but we didn't have time. So by time we got out of the movies as 4p, I had only eaten 200 cals. I had greek for dinner but I wasn't sure if it would be worse to not eat enough for the day or to eat a day's worth of calories in 5hours... Oh well. I Gyros and Tiziki!

but made up for it and was extra good on sunday! Healthy home cooked breakfast, healthy lunch while hiking at the beach, did a little climbing (ended up walking and playing for 4 hours) then went to DQ were I only had a 200 cal item WHICH is amazing when all those sundays are looking you in the face!!!! Then made Healthy turkey tacos for dinner.... I got on track and am gonna kick my butt this week. Gonna walk the kids to school today and I found a great place to walk to from my house. 2miles there and 2 miles back....so we will see!

Good job getting back on track! I don't know if I could have resisted the sundays. Ice cream is definately my weakness. I'm SO addicted to McDonalds vanilla ice cream cones. :blushing:0 -
I wasn't great with my calories this weekend. I ate lots of soup because it was snowing outside!!! But, I did walk tons around while shopping & did tons of exercise on top of that. I burned about 1,000 calories yesterday & hope to keep that up today and for my next few days while i'm on my days off. I did splurge and buy whole grain cheerios yesterday :laugh: I'm trying to resist having them for every meal! eek!!

I totally blew it last night. I ate perfectly all day then had carne asada fries for dinner. The only healthy thing about it was the handful of tomatoes... what was I thinking?? now I just hope I didn't gain this week.0

I burned about another 1,000 calories yesterday, YAH!, and feel like I ate pretty decent yesterday as well. I've been treating myself to high fibre snacks for the past couple days, but not feeling to guilty about it. I also made a really yummy chicken breast that I had marinated in a greek vinegrette, and then made a potato and yam bake to accompany it. It was soooo yummy!!!
Anyways, I'm excited for today because my boyfriend will be joining me at the gym for the first time tonight! I also have a whole new motivation because my tummy tuck consultation is coming up in just a few short months!!

jbuerer - I hear you on the blowing it all in one meal! I did that on Sunday and was so mad at myself afterward. Guess I'll just remember that feeling next time I'm about to blow it!

So, I've been steadily losing weight since I started this in April, and have felt it, you know? Like my clothes have felt loser and it just feels good. But now it feels like my body is adjusting and I don't FEEL the weight loss any more! Does that happen to anyone else? I think I'm just getting used to it!
I guess that's a good thing and will push me to the next level so I can feel that way again but I still miss it!0
