PLEASE READ THIS WHOLE THREAD BEFORE POSTING ANYTHING!
Recipe swap is a fun group where every week two recipes are shared by our members to be cooked by everyone else in the group!
http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/454606-recipe-swap-week-18
If you make a recipe from week 18, please post your review of it on that post.
THIS WEEK Peep_chic AND traynor98 ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SHARING RECIPES FOR THE REST OF THE GROUP TO MAKE.
Hopefully the recipes are posted today or tomorrow.
1. Sign up by making a post in this thread and I will add you to the member list.
2. Every week there will be TWO recipes/meals submitted by two members. Each member of the community should make the recipe and post their opinions about the recipe/meal, changes they may have made, etc.
3. Each week there will be a new recipe swap post on the MFP boards. This post will be the place that the members responsible for the recipes for the week will post them as well as the place where you should comment about the recipes/meals you cooked. If you make any substitutions or other changes in the recipe, tell us that as well. And by all means, if you take pictures and want to share them, do!
For more information and for the recipes from last week and the member list, check out here: https://docs.google.com/a/u.pacific.edu/document/d/1fqBAaFmtHqOq76VlmyASTE8LX-FnUnYWCYY7QTu6q1o/edit?hl=en_US

Hi all I have a quick & easy crockpot recipe. You will need:
5 or 6 defrosted chicken breasts
Low sodium taco seasoning
3-16oz pace picante mild salsa
Season each chicken breast with taco seasoning to your taste and place on the bottom of
the crock pot. Top with salsa. 2-16oz would probably be enough but I like
It with plenty of sauce. Cook on high 3-4 hours or on low setting 7-9 hours.
Eat with tacos, tortillas, rice or anything you can come up with. Hope you enjoy
It. Its about 140 calories the serving, it varies with the brands you buy.0 -

I FINALLY made the cowboy burgers last night from last weeks recipes. I LOVED them. I did tweak them but they were fantastic! I used:
1lb ground venison (deer meat)
tsp chili powder
dash of garlic powder
coarse black pepper I used about 2 tsp
salt to your taste
2Tbs Kraft smokey bbq sauce
1/4 C sargento's mexican 4 cheese shredded cheese
1/4 C plain bread crumbs
I added fresh slices of onion and lettuce after it was finished and served it open faced for me and the calorie count was around 265 per person and it made 4 burgers. We loved it and I think we will be making it again and again.0 -

I wonder if it would work with ground turkey or maybe even bison?0 -
If the 2nd recipe is not posted by tomorrow morning.. be on the lookout!0
