    It's a DVD by Jillian Michaels. It's about 27 minutes long - including warm up & cool down. You do 3 circuits of strength training, cardio, & abs. & There is 3 different levels. I got it from Wal-Mart.

    Not for me. I was just counting my calories, eating healthier ( I do have a cheat day once a week), & drinking a lot of water. She does offer a diet plan, but you don't have to follow it.
  • Starting Weight = 169lbs.
    Ending Weight = 162lbs.

    01/01/12:
    Upper Waist = 32"
    Lower Waist = 34"
    Hips = 38"
    Right Arm = 12.5"
    Left Arm = 12.5"
    Right Thigh = 24"
    Left Thigh = 24.5"

    02/01/12:
    Upper Waist = 31.5" ( -0.5" )
    Lower Wast = 31.5" ( - 2.5" )
    Hips = 37" ( -1" )
    Right Arm = 12.5" ( -0 )
    Left Arm = 12" ( -0.5" )
    Right Thigh = 23 ( -1 )
    Left Thigh = 23.5 ( -1 )

    Total Weight Loss = 7lbs
    Total Inches Loss = 6.5in

    I started the 30 Day Shred on 12/27/11 and completed it on 01/31/12. It took me a total of 35 days. If you would like to read a review on each day, please visit my blog:

    I wanted to add a picture from when I first started my "journey" in May 2011. I was 169lbs here as well. But I was more fat than muscle!

    She doesn't really explain this part in the DVD, but I just did 10 days of each level. All she says is that you should do each level until you're comfortable enough to move on. I could master each level by day 10, so that's when I moved on. Hope this helps. :smile:
  • WOW Kish, i never knew you were that big. i'm VERY proud of you!!! you look great and i can tell the difference for sure!!! im ready to kick *kitten* in the race we're doing. i've lost 19 pounds so far, hopefully we can lose more!!

    Awesome!! Im on Day 2 of Level 1 and Im determined to actually stick it out the 30 days and see what comes of it. Thanks for helping motivate me to keep it up!!
  • Great job! You look great! May I ask if you did any other cardio/workout while shredding? Also, how was your diet? Did you cut out carbs/sugar?
    Today was my 2nd day and I'm excited (and eager!) to see results. I'm counting calories and hoping that would help remove my belly fat :(

    I did some Zumba, walking/running on the treadmill or outside, sometimes I do Tae-Bo... I didn't cut out carbs or sugar. I pretty much just tracked my calories. I allowed myself a cheat day every week, but I wasn't on some really strict diet. I hope you see some results! Stick with it :)
