My husband has done a lot of romantic things but this sticks in my mind because it was funny. He bought some of that warm oil stuff in the bottle and insisted on giving me a body massage with it. I said ok, but I hated it, because it was so oily! I felt so nasty with all that oil all over me, that no matter what he did, I wasn't relaxed or turned on. All I wanted to do was jump in the shower. So after about twenty minutes, I couldn' t take it anymore and I yelled "I have to get this crap off of me!" and I jumped off the bed and in to the shower!

Oh, well yeah I agree. I would hate that too. But I get this body bar from lushusa.com and it smells great, all natural and.....you can eat it......

Probably not the most romantic thing he's ever done for me, but it's up there along with all the others.

This morning my husband and I said 'see you later' and he left for 10 weeks (for work), and when I returned home from dropping him off at the airport, I walked into our bedroom and found a card, a gift, and his bottle of cologne on my pillow. Sometimes the little things, warm the heart in a big way when we least expect them!!

What a sweet thing! How long have you guys been married?

    Married for 7yrs, together almost 12yrs :)

i was blue, and not wanting to deal with the kitchen or the vacuuming or the bathrooms, so my wonderful husband sent me out on a walk and did all my chores for me.. he did the dishes and vacuumed, and then came up with the suggestion that we hire someone to come in and clean the bathrooms every couple weeks.. it was the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me :) much love for my baby.

I'm not usually the type to gush over romantic things, but little things that have meaning can really get to me.

A few years back my husband and I were on vacation in Las Vegas. We had stopped off downtown to get a drink and a shrimp cocktail in one of the casinos that has a jazz piano lounge in the back. We were really enjoying the time and listening to some jazz.

I had come back from the bathroom and started to enjoy some more music when I began to recognize the song being played. It was from the musical, Brigadoon, which I love! The song was 'Almost Like Being in Love', which is a meaningful song to my husband and I (that's another story). That song gets to me because of its meaning.

I start smiling and looking at my husband, hoping he'll recognize the song and he's looking at me and grinning. He tells me he asked the pianist to play the song when I came back to the table.

It's not usually like me, but I just started crying. That simple thing had touched me so much. So then he starts singing the song to me, just loud enough for us to hear and that makes me cry more, lol.

In our nearly 11 year marriage, my husband has done elaborate and fancy things for me and we've experienced a lot together, but this one simple and completely unexpected action I feel was the most romantic moment we've shared.
