What are you proud of today?

Sometimes the internal conversations we have can be quite negative and we don't realise we are doing good and have made positive empowering choices until it is right in front of our eyes...so post them!

Mine are...

1. I didn't smoke today or really feel the NEED to smoke.

2. I had Alpen for breakfast (big deal for me as I am the Queen of the Egg McMuffin)

3. I chose a healthy lunch

4. I didn't cry at the dentist and I took my injections like a man!

What's everyone else of proud of today? It can be 1 thing or 100 things!!!!

    I am proud that I ran double my normal mileage yesterday in the cold and snow, 6 miles... and I am not sore today at all !! :)

    There were other runners who were faster than me but they don't normally run and they can't walk today hehehehehe
  • 1. Did day 2 of my 42 day plan successfully
    2. Said no to going out and yes to revising
    3. I ate healthy
    4. I haven't given up on anything
    5. Told my mum I love her

    I'm proud that I did another day of my circuit training routine my PT gave me....even though I was terrified after how hard it was when I did it in her studio! Also, I've already had 8 glasses of water today, so its gonna be a great day!

    This is too funny. I thought OP was a man at first, which would have made it funnier to me. But I totally relate to the trauma of the dentist! Every time I go to the dentist I have to struggle not to get a burrito afterward (comfort food)! :cry:

    1. I put on clothes I ordered, in the size I have been ordering forever. I was hesitant to put them on for fear I was delusional in my healthy habits.
    I am swimming in said clothes. Tonight I have to try to shrink them. I have never had this problem.

    2. I have yet to give in to the chocolate at work.

    Not a bad monday.

    After working 26 hours this weekend, I went out jogging this morning... just to realized how tired I was! :yawn:
    But the only thing that counts, is that I DID run. :bigsmile:

    Today I found out I am just 3 pounds away from losing 10 stone (140 pounds). That should be reached by next week sometime.

    I've been back on track for two days now, after a week-long illness left me practically bedridden and indulging on junk.

    Sure, I've got almost 3lbs to lose to get back to my lowest weight of 2012, but it's good to be healthy again.

    I'm proud that I am finding it easier and easier to say no to candy and sweets, particularly when I'm not hungry.
    I'm proud that I've worked out every day this week, including trying out a new Power Yoga workout.
    I'm getting my kids involved in my workouts, too.

    I am proud that I didn't eat the Girl Scout Cookies that my coworker put on my filing cabinet! Everyone else has stopped by to visit and grab a couple of cookies, hopefully they are gone soon.

    I had my weekly weigh in at the hospital today and I've gained two pounds this week. At first I was quite upset over this but I know it is what my body needs and it is what I am working towards. I need to gain weight and have a healthy lifestyle so hopefully one day I can have a healthy baby. Definately a reason to fight anorexia!

    I'm proud that I got up at 5 and did Turbo Fire 45 and day 1 of level 3 30 Day Shred. I never workout that hard on the weekends.

    So far...and im not even out of pajamas yet...

    -I have been lovely to my family (I get cranky at times)...
    -I only ate one of the buttermilk / brown sugar splenda pancakes I made a HUGE batch of
    -I had strawberries in my protein shake...i hate fruit for some weird reason...but love veggies!
    -that I plan on making my TODAY better than my YESTERDAY!
