I tried my hand at spiking on Saturday, and I lost the 2.5 lbs that I gained that day, but very unhappy to report that I've only lost .2 lbs since last Wednesday. There won't be a spike day this week, I was losing without spiking, so I don't know why I changed my way of thinking.

what is spiking?
You pick one day of the week to double your caloric intake, basically go hog wild and eat the things that you have been doing without. It is said to jump start your metabolism and helps you loose throughout the week. I have seen some people on MFP with great results at spiking. This was my first try at it, and I do believe I will loose weight this week, but just to soon to tell, Saturday morning should have been my true weigh in date according to the spike program. It is called Spike 84, look it up.0 -
