I have to agree with LorinalLynn - don't get hung up on the scale. It will cause so much stress and will actually hurt your results. The main thing to remember is that muscle weighs more than fat. When I was in the Army, I saw a nutrition and she asked me what I would like to get down to. I told her I was shooting for 145. She laughed at me. Not because it wasn't doable but because with my height, body frame and muscle mass, I would literally look sick and anorexic. A little meat on your bones is healthy. Now I did eventually get down to 145 but you could see my bones sticking out in certain picks. It is doable, but I think I would rather have the muscle then focus on the scale. Recently, I have been doing P90X. I was getting really disgusted because in the first 30 days it seemed like the scale never budged. I am posting the link to were I have been documenting my journey. Currently I am on Day 80 and only have 10 more days to go to finish the full 90 days. However, at Day 30 I had only lost 3.3 pounds (which you can see the results on Day 29 because that was my weigh in day. However, Day 30 is where the picture is. It is a big difference. Funny cause I didn't notice it until I took the picture. But, you would never guess I only lost 3.3 pounds!

Muscle does not weight more than fat. 1 pound of muscle= 1 pound of fat, muscle is just more dense.0 -
MY highest was 138 I got down to 123 but gained a few recently i fluctuate between around 130-128 these days trying to maintain 125-120 but it's very hard for me my body is comfortable at 130/128!!! I'll send you a photo via email I'm just computer illiterate can't figure out how to post it here lol feel free to friend me also we can motivate eachother !!!
Exactly true for me, as well! I started at 145-150 (5' 7")and got down to 125, but it was VERY hard to maintain. I am now always between 128-130 and that is where my body is happiest, so I am just going to stay right there and tone up .
Hmm yes, I am 5'8.5" and at 125 I would be insanely skinny.
How tall are you guys?
I would like to get to 150 I just can't see myself into the 130's at my height and frame, I would be very very skinny.
However I share the pain on the boob loss, down to a 34B already.
i am 5'7 as well i am small framed so i look chunky at anything higher then 135. i dont feel comfortable at all when i am that high i feel most comfortable with my body when i am under 130s0 -
I started a bit higher, at about 152, but am now 123 lbs. I don't have any pictures though other than on my profile as I haven't taken them along the way.0

Love your look. You might be 140 but your bodyfat is probably lower than most people who are in the 120's and 130's! You look great and prove it's more than just weight. Beautiful!!0 -
Lol thank you keenas for helping me out I'm clueless!!!!0

I started this journey at 158 i am now 148, but trying to get back down to 125 or less that will depend on how it goes from here. If you woudl ike to add me go for it. I too used to be known for being sicky and just sick of the way I look now.0

I'm 5ft 7" and currently weigh 163.5lbs
I used to be approx 135 before I was diagnosed with underactive thyroid and hit 185lbs!!
Glad i'm losing again now and really want to get to 130/135 again - would love to be more toned this time though ;-D
Holiday in June so i'm on a mission!
Anyone feel free to add me - I'm very supportive and have an open diary.
Good luck hitting your ideal weights ladies!!

Woahhhhhhhhhh. I am not buff. Nor will I probably ever be. I just run. It's what I love and I'm too lazy for anything else. I never stop moving though... Always bouncing around and I thankfully have too much energy.
Anyway.... I started in the mid 140s and now I'm down to 133. In college I was at 123 at my HIGHest so I would love to get back there. Been stuck at around 133 for a couple of weeks now.
Good luck peeps! We can do this!0 -

I can't even remember when i was 125... but currently 144... i was 130 back in 2009 and havne't seen the 130s since 2010... I'd like to get to 125 but the end of the year... pref by summer... but idk if that will happen.0

I would take your 145 in a heart beat.
You would take her 145, I would take your 162
Lol0 -
Someone at 5'3" "might" look chunky at 140 but someone 5'9" is gonna be skinny.
:grumble:  :explode:
Yes, I'm that shorty thats chunky at 141. I'm 5'1.5. I was 162 last year when I started in January... lost 20 and then took the winter off Now i'm back to defeat the next 20+0 -
for the love of God, muscle does NOT weigh more than fat. it takes up less space is all.
That's what "weighs more than" means in the comparative sense. Obviously one pound of muscle is going to weigh the same as one pound of fat. But given certain size parameters, 1 cu ft of muscle is heavier than 1 cu ft of fat.
Just like a pile of feathers weighs less than a pile of bowling balls, if the piles are of equal size.
I was just about to say that.
That photo of the 5lb fat and muscle is gross but pretty amazing too.0 -
Thanks ladies for all the posts! I seriously needed to read these today! I have been stuck at 135-137 for nearly a month. But I can tell my body is changing, the scale is just not moving! I am 5'5 and wanted to get to 120-125... but I am learning to focus more on Body Fat % and inches and forget the da#n scale! Good luck to you all!
Here is a little motivation for the day!

I am RIGHT there with you!! 5'5, and currently 137. Want to get to 126. Just.can't.do.it. for some reason! Killing myself at the gym and getting crazy good muscles but still covered by the fat. *sigh*0 -
I'm 5'5". The first 2 pics were of me around 145ish (and yes, I burned that awful swimsuit once I shrunk out of it....blech!)

I had some more recent pics (in a bikini) at my current weight which is around 122ish....but I'm not finding them on my computer right now.0 -
I'm 5"3 (and a half!) and weigh 151lb.
Despite all my efforts to shift lb's over the past 10 months, I have only lost a measly 6lb.
However, my clothes are all a lot looser on me, I have physically lost a lot of weight and am much more toned than before.
Which is what is important, not what the scales read. I might be at my tiniest ever, a UK size 8 - 10 and still weigh 150lb.
Sod the scales, as long as I am happy with what I see in the mirror, that's all that matters :drinker:0 -

i guess its time to find me a husband to buy me some too!!! hahahaha
Girl me too! I'm already barely a B, and they seem to be the first things to go. Damn it! I wish I could afford to buy some new ones myself cause honestly, that'd be motivation enough if I knew I'd actually get them! I want boobs sooo bad!
care credit: no interest for a year. most plastic surgeons offices use this. we pay like 250 a month. B(o)(o)M!
LOVE IT! I'm IN! hehehe soon as I reach my goal that is.0 -
