  • I'm in. I'm new to fitness pal & am so up for the challenge.

    90 minutes of racquetball.
    90 minutes of walking today.

    2/3 - 55mins cardio
    2/6 - 67mins cardio
    2/7 - 60mins cardio
    2/8 - 40mins cardio

  • a quick update;

    1st - 70 mins - (15 mins brisk walk and 55 mins 6 mile run)
    3rd - 50 mins - (treadmill/bike & elliptical)
    4th - 30 mins - (5k run)
    ......snowed off......
    7th - 50 mins - (4.5 mile run)
    8th - 45 mins - (4 mile run)

    Total so far = 245/1000
    Need to ramp it up this weekend & next week to get to that target

    Daily commute is around 40 miles a day...

    Day 1: cycling, daily commute - 165 mins
    Day 2: cycling, daily commute - 172 mins
    Day 3: cycling, daily commute - 102 mins - so cold had to take a more direct route in today
    Day 4: General cycling - 90 mins
    Day 5:Mega snowball fight on village green - 75 mins (or 477 HRM cals burnt)
    Day 6: Another shorter ride into work due to ice - 80 min
    Day 7: cycling, daily commute - 115 mins

    Day 8: cycling, daily commute - 80 mins
    Day 9: cycling, daily commute - 78 mins

    Total: 957 mins

    Just found this thread, but looks interesting and right in line with my commitments for the new year. Will post my total so far for the month and then do dailies moving forward. Most of my activity is either treadmill or cycling.

    492 minutes so far since February 1, so 508 left to go.

    For some reason i cannot find what exercises count towards the 1000 can someone please help me.
    Kelly31792 This forum isn't linked to where you enter your exercise. I keep a text file of my minutes, update and save it then copy/paste it into a reply. Think others go to their last post, quote it in a reply and update it on the fly?:huh:
    I can do this, but are we each accountable, or are we to post and you are going to keep track of everyone who joins? Either way is fine. Was just wondering...is there a prize at the end?:smile:
    tootsnpops believe we are each accountable to ourselves, no one is monitoring:noway: to congratulate or chide us for our results. imho its encouraging to see other's accomplishments and struggles. The prize is the daily sense of accomplishment and gradually improving health... :laugh:
    Sadly my exercise asthma prevents me from doing the 30DS often so I'm stuck with mixing it up on the treadmill. I get anxiety when I can't breathe but no matter what I will do this!

    Wasn't too sure if I could get out today - temp was minus 11 when I took daughter to her swimming lesson. However, the sun finally came out and the temp rose to a tropical minus 3!
