How is everyone doing with their workouts?
I'm really second guessing things. I did sculpt today...no sweating or anything so it made me feel like i didn't do anything. All I thought about was how I do similar strength training with cardio when I do my 30-day shred.
As for the cardio portion, I like bum bum, i hate cardio axe...too many steps.
I don't know, guess I'm just feeling bummed. No pun intended.
I think Sculpt is a pretty good workout. It is mainly strenght training with some minor cardio in it. It is not supposed to make you sweat too much IMO even though I still sweat quite a bit. I did P90X so I have done strenght training that is more intense that Sculpt and I still feel the burn when I do it because of the speed, number of reps, and weights. What weights are using? That will make the workout harder/easier.
Cardio Axe is not very intense but once you know the steps you can make it intense. I burn a pretty good amount of calories doing Cardio Axe but I will agree that it is not my favorite.0 -
I got BBL about a week ago. It's okay but I wouldn't use it as my only workout. I'm mixing in with P90X since P90X doesn't really have that much leg workout.
So far I've done Bum Bum, Sculpt and Cardio Axe. I think Bum Bum is probably the one I think is the most of a leg workout although I think I'll have to find a different way of doing it. I like to see clear numbers (25 reps, etc) and with the speed of BBL you don't get that. So I think I'll spend some time and watch it and see how many reps they do and then do it at my own pace.0 -
I got this for Christmas and haven't tried it. I am not good at dancing and have no rhythm whatsoever. Is this something I would be able to do? I have tried Zumba and I failed miserably. I want a workout that can tone my core, abs, butt and thighs but if it is similar to Zumba I do not think i will be good at it. Any thoughts from anyone?0

I bought BBL a while ago, but I hadn't done it religiously. I have now started back up and hope to see results!
One question though, I run four or five days a week and due to time constraints, I'm wondering if BBL says anything about substituting in different activities for the cardio? I'm assuming running a couple miles in around the same time as the Cardio Axe would do the trick.
Anyone know?0 -
I'm doing BBL and P90X2 at the same time. I don't follow the schedule because I"m using it instead of doing my physical therapy exercises for hip and glute development. I'm a long distance runner and have been having hip weakness issues, BBL has been perfect. I use a heavier band - a red one and I use 10lb ankle weights. But so far have been really pleased. I generally do High and Tight 3x per week and Bum Bum, I skip Cardio Axe as I do enough cardio running. And I always do the Live Class before my long run to warm up my hips before I go. I've continued to be sore the entire time in this program, that must mean it's working right?0

Skip the Cardio Axe and use the Bum Bum and the High and Tight workouts. There is a good upper body one - Sculpt for good cross training too. The dancing part is similar to Zumba, IMO, but the only dancing I've really found is in Cardio Axe not in the other ones. The Live workout is good too for targeting areas w/o dancing. It's purely lunges and squats of numerous varieties.0 -
I did Bum Bum for the first time last night and almost died. I hurt quite a bit today, might skip the next workout. I need to get those bands, I didn't buy the DVDs so I don't have the resistant bands except for handled ones used on the Slim in 6 DVD.
Can I get the bands at walmart?0 -
I haven't done it yet but I just got my BBL last week in the mail. I've heard about it online and when I saw the infomercial I was sold! I'm finishing up a 9 week ea active 2 program and after that is over I'm starting BBL.. I also go go the gym at least 3 days a week, I'm so excited to see the results! I'm def going to take before and after pics.0

You can get bands at walmart. You will need to tie a knot as the ones from BBL are one piece but they will do the job. Make sure you buy good quality ones because you don't want them snapping on you while using it.
Bum Bum and High and Tight are my favorite BBL w/o!0 -

^^ My exact same thoughts. Bum Bum and High & Tight are the staples.
I'm trying to do Bum Bum 3x a week and High & Tight 2x a week. They are killer.0 -
I just recorded the infomercial to convince my Hubby I need it0

I did a month of BBL and I really liked it. It was fun and I didn't get bored. I naturally have wide hips and big thighs and a large... butt.
I do think that it made my legs and butt look better. I remember that my favorite video was Cardio Axe (I never would do it infront of someone, I am sure I look like a total buffoon) . Also, my bf noticed the effects (look and feel ) of this workout without me telling him that I was doing a butt-specific workout.
I stopped doing it because I started doing Turbo-Jam. I always planned on going back and doing another month of it, but I have never gotten around to it. I may start it again sometime soon....
In summary, its great0 -
Just did High and Tight for the first time today. It is no joke. Tomorrow is supposed to be an off day so I will do W5D1 of B210K assuming that I can walk tomorrow!0
-
High and Tight and Bum Bum are definitely my faves too! I only use Cardio Axe on the days where I'm sick or something but still need to get somewhat of a workout in because it's so low impact. When I was using them regularly last year I definitely noticed a difference in how "high and tight" my butt was getting...but I fell off the wagon for awhile and need to start back up again!0

Yeah, I don't see why not. Cardio Axe is just for cardio, it doesn't really work specific muscle groups.0 -
since i have absolutely NO rhythm i foudn cardio axe impossible. so i just do p90 fat burner express mixed with the gym or jogging to replace my cardio. bum bum is great! i need to try high and tight now that i finally got a band0
-
I did high and tight yesterday. I felt my butt was going to cramp!
Bum Bum and High and Tight are my faves!0 -
I LOVE these workouts! High and Tight & Bum Bum are the only ones I do now in addition to my HIIT, and gym routine.. I like to mix it up so I'm not bored.
This is a great program though, stick to it and you'll really see great things happen!!

Question for the ladies. I've always heard from many women that they like guys with a firm butt. Based on the possibilities of this program, would you recommend it to any guys to do it? I know a few male BeachBody coaches have done it and it is far from being just for women, they said it was tough.0

Hmm, this program is meant to make it round and firm. I don't know how I feel about a guy doing it. Personal preference I guess. Honestly I pay more attention to a guy's tone in his arms chest and abs way more than his butt or legs.0 -
Maria - I think I was being a tad ridiculous in thinking it wasn't working just because I wasn't sweating. I did the pencil test and I passed. Clearly it's working!
As for weights, I've upped to 10 lbs for a better workout.
I just can't do Cardio axe...can't get into it. Bum bum is great though. High and tight is also fab!0 -

I never really expect to see much of a butt on a guy, but it is a nice surprise when I do. If you would like to have a better butt than go for it.0 -
Well, the reason why I asked is not because I want to do the workout, I have more than enough with the crazy hybrid I'm doing  but I do have noticed that some of the girls I've dated specifically make remarks about how they like some jeans I have because of how they make my butt look  so I was just wondering what was your opinion as women.0
-
I'm doing it now and it works! Good luck to you.0
-
just got BBL and on day 3, so far ok, my muscles are killing which is great:)0
-
I ordered it and am currently stalking the mailman waiting for the package! lol0

I attempted early this month, but knee started to hurt. Perhaps, I will do only mat exercise and others will less chance of knee hurting. I comppleted program last year, and did not pass pencil test Sad but true. I will keep this in mind!0

I love Brazil Butt Lift, I think Leandro is a HOOT! I love using the program to really target my booty. I am doing P90X right now, but I'm actually throwing a little Bum Bum & High & Tight into the mix right now to get ready for our Bahamas trip in 6wks! Gotta be bikini-ready. If you have any more specific questions let me know!0
