Ahhhh if I ever have kids for a son it's going to be something like; Aonghus, Christian, Theodore ;w; I love those names.

    Sons name is Ty
    Daughters are Ava and Hiwalani
We have a system: For boys, dad picks first and I pick middle and vice versa for girls
If I get another girl her name will be Yva (Eva) or Yve (Eve) cause my name is Yvette.

Someone saying about how kids will hate having an unusual name/change it when they're 18 etc (can't be bothered to find and quote haha). Both me and my sister have "unusual" names, Yolanda and Tamsin. Now in reality Yolanda isn't an uncommon name, admittedly it's normally spelt Yolande because it's a Dutch name, I see nothing wrong with naming your kids in another language if you want to, so long as you know how to pronounce it. Tamsin, is a bit different, mainly because whilst once again it's from another language, it's from a language that hasn't been used for around 3 centuries (It's Cornish/Brythonic Celtic, the language spoken before English in around the Anglo-Saxon times). People have constantly spelt out names wrong, pronounced them wrong, so on so forth, and neither of us are ever bothered by it, we even make jokes like for my sister easiest way to remember it is "Yo Land A(hoy)" generally you tell someone that once they won't forget it. However, we were both given "normal" middle names so if we chose we could use those as our given name, my sister is "Jill" after my Grandmother and I'm "Ellis" (after a Cornish translation writer, not after Elijah (God is Lord) since my parents aren't religious). I think unusual names are lovely so long as a) you can pronounce them and b) they don't sound rude/something kids can pick on you for (and believe me I got a lot of "Tarzan's" yelled at me). And as for Buraku meaning evil spirit, no kid would get bullied over that since no bully would use their brain and google the name to find out what it means.

    Hey everyone,
So my financee and i were talking about baby names last night and we both came up with Bakura rose.....What do you all think?!

There are so many beautiful names out there! Bakura is not one of them. Rose in the middle has been done to death.
It seems like everybody's trying so hard to be different that nobody has a normal name. Have the confidence to give your child a beautiful name, whether or not there might be ONe other child in the same town with the same name.

My taste is more like Juliet, Hazel, Clara, Thea, Anya, Phoebe........... so you can now totally dismiss my opinion on the grounds of our different tastes!

names like Tamsin and Yolanda are different from Bakura. They are underused, but still established names. Bakura?

Ive already picked out a girls name if I ever have one (Hadley) lol. But I'm lost for a middle name. I'll probably do Hadley Kay after my mom.

That sounded trendy about four years ago. It's 'over' as a trendy name now. The huh sound at the beginning is quite harsh. Names ending in 'ley' have been done to death in America. I know you are American, so how a name is perceived in the UK/Ireland is of little importance to you, but to my ear it sounds a bit chavarooneytastic.

But I would like to say I have a super generic name (Amanda Marie) and I have always wished it was something more unique or odd. It might just be my personality but all of my siblings are the same. (Joshua, Rachael, Melissa, Amanda) And my parents are Jennifer and Jon. lol. All so common. And I am not a fan. I give my mom crap as a joke about her lack of creativity lol.

I like the name. Not because it used to be trendy, I just like it. And ya, I'm American, and if I have a boy I like the name Decklin. I don't care who has the name or how other people think of it or what country its from.

Yeah but it's the fact that you're advertising that you DON'T care about other cultures that makes you look a little uneducated! Decklin for example is a corrupted spelling of Declan. Declan is a perfectly normal name, why make it look uneducated by spelling it Decklin! But hey, it's your child and at the end of the day, nobody really cares what you do! so good luck to baby Hadley and baby Decklin!
