How often do you weigh yourself?

There is a reason why they suggest once a week or less often. You're gonna go up and down from day to day and throughout the day as well. That being said... I weigh every day. I use it as a way to track my cycle, and to see if I had a reaction to my food. I've got a few food sensitivities that cause me to put on a couple pounds over night. So I like to monitor for that!0

I have a look everyday to keep myself in check> I know it's not recommended but I find it helps me motivate myself to get moving if it's the first thing I do.
I only log my weight once a week though. Normally on a Monday so I don't overdo it at the weekend. ; )0 -
I weigh myself everyday on my wii in the morning with the same clothes on about the same time each morning. It does go up and down today it went up and it was kind of discouraging because I was so busy yesterday barely sat down. I hope tomorrow will be better.0

I think I react to cheese and bread it seems when I eat them I go up at least for a day. I love carbs so it is hard for me some days to stay away from the breads.0 -
I weigh myself every morning, but my "official" weigh-in for weight loss is on Sundays. The daily weigh-ins are to keep me focused and aware of what's going on. Because honestly, I can do a lot of damage in a week if I'm not paying attention!!0

Every couple of weeks or so. I know I'm always losing, I just need to not obsess about the scale and keep a going...0

I weigh myself everyday and I post it on http://www.fourmilab.ch/ . It is a good website and it tells you how many calories you are over eating and it lets you know if you are going to lose any weight .0

I'm a scale *kitten*! If I don't like the numbers, it pushes me harder to workout.
I do the same thing....I think I'm actually scale ocd..... I do it ever time I'm in the bathroom. This has me really watching what I eat and how much I work out.... the few days I didn't do it that way I gained a few pounds. Guess I'm afraid of that happening again.....
For most people I would say once a week though. ( I only log my weight Monday mornings though.)0 -
Once a week.. but on the same day i do it, i do it once in the morning, then again before i go to bed to see if there is a change through out the day. Plus your body is pretty much drained in the morning, no water or food for like the last 6 hrs.0

once a week by my nutrionist. i don't do it thank the goddess xD so i don't' worry about it. but i'm happy with whatever i loose.0

Once a week.0

Once a month after my period first thing in the morning after using the bathroom. I want to wring every ounce of excess water out of me! LOL0

Used to weigh myself twice a day: when I got up, and when I went to bed. Now I threw out my scale. I only know how much I weigh when I go visit my specialist, every 4-5 weeks. Progress is a lot better, motiviation is better, stress level and dissapointment is a lot lower.0

I do it everyday, if I don't weigh everyday I find myself "falling off the wagon" lol. Yes the scale goes up and down, and some days it's discouraging, but for the most part it helps me keep my diet/workouts in check. I only log losses though. I do keep track of my weight in notes section of my food diary.
Exact same way I do it.
I do it that way too. I weigh every morning before I get dressed. If the scale goes up it motivates me to do everything on plan the rest of the day. If it goes down I log it. Sometime I log my weight every other day and sometimes not for a week and a half. I'm OK seeing a gain on the scale but I can't stand to see the little chart go back up!!!0 -
I track my weight daily using a spreadsheet that automatically calculates my trend so that I am really focused on the trend instead of the daily weight. This allows me to be accountable every day while not worrying too much about daily fluctuations. I use the tools that are provided in the Hacker's Diet, available for free download (google 'Hackers Diet')0

Too Damn much !!! lol I weight my self every morning and before I go to sleep, before and after the gym also0

I weigh morning and night - daily. I know it's wrong....but I'm addicted!0

I weigh myself at home every morning, but I don't pay much attention to it. I do "official weigh-ins" every Friday at the gym.0

On my gym scale before I work out, every time, which ranges from 2-6 times a week. I weigh myself on other scales when I feel like it (my boyfriend's gym, my work), but I consider the scale at my gym to be the official one and that's the only one I record.
I do fluctuate, and the ups are hard to take. But then I work out harder. It's only been 11 days so I'm still getting used to things.0 -
Every morning and after every bm but I try to log just once per week and I take my measurements once per month.0

once a week weight and messurements , sat morning when i wake up , it is tempting to step on the scale every day so i go as far as putting my scale in the attic and get it out saterday mornings , seems to help not seeing it lol0

This is exactly why I do it every morning! I find it's best to keep track of your weight and make sure that somewhere during the week it didn't get out of control. I find it also motivates me to push a bit harder if I go down, to keep up the good work if I break even, or pat myself on the back if I go down. You also have to be kind to yourself if it goes up a bit, and realize that sometimes that happens, definitely don't beat yourself up for it.
I also make sure to do it before I eat breakfast and naked for the best and consistant results!0 -
go get a new scale i recomend a digital one that dose % fat and water myn is great and always withitn .2lb when i dubble check0

Weighing in is a hard mental issue for me. For years I struggled with anorexia and the scale was my complete nemesis. I obsessed over the scale and would weigh myself several times a day!
Now I am going to try to ignore that scale except weekly. Friday mornings will be my day and I will not let my old "nutty" behavior come back!0 -
My scales are pretty awful, you weigh yourself and record it, then get on it again 2 mins later and you've gained/lost up to 3 pounds!
What should I do?0 -
but to answer the question.. .i weigh myself every other day .. some times less... i officially weigh in every friday . thats just the day i so happened to start working out & dieting ... so i stuck with it0
-

That's me. I don't beat myself up about the little ups and downs. I also find my weight tends to lag a day behind my good/bad workout/calorie days.0 -
My "official" weigh in is Tuesday mornings but I do weigh a few days after eating something I shouldn't (Chinese especially) to see if I gained anything.
