Do You Eat These Eight Foods Daily?

Options
I was reading that the following eight foods should be eaten everyday:

(1) Spinach
(2) Yogurt
(3) Tomatoes
(4) Carrots
(5) Blueberries
(6) Black Beans
(7) Walnuts
(8) Oats

Do you incorporate these into your diet? I'm going to slowly add these to mine and see if I can eat them everyday.

Nope, nor do I believe that any specific food is a requirement.

EDIT: That being said, there's nothing wrong with eating those foods if you enjoy them.

I can't stand yogurt but the rest are good. I don't eat them every day though. I think I'd get tired of that after a while.

Yes, I do believe in natural healing, good health and longevity by eating healthily. :flowerforyou:

However not everyday, I believe in variety and a good balance too

They are all great for you but by the time you incorporated all of them into your diet everyday you wouldn't have a lot left over to consume other foods. I think variety is very important. Different foods have different micronutrients so it's important to mix it up. That being said I do eat everything on that list a few times a week (except walnuts-I prefer raw almonds).

I love beans, but more than a couple of times per week is dangerous for those around me.

you won't see me near: walnuts (very, very high in Omega-6); black beans (legumes contain nasty things called lectins and phytates); oats (it's a grain and grains are bad stuff: see Cereal Grains: Humanity's Double-Edged Sword by Loren Cordain. It's a pdf file you can find online and read for nothing; and the only yogurt I will touch is full-fat greek yogurt.

I used to have a bowl of oatmeal and an apple every day for breakfast. I got tired of the blood sugar crash (that wonderful weak, shaky feeling) 90 mintues later and the extreme hunger that came with it. I try and eat eggs every day - they will keep me full for five hours or more.

I eat whole grains, nuts, low fat dairy, fresh fruits and veggies and lean meats.

I do not get into the lists of specific "must have" foods.

Over the course of a week, usually at least 3x of each. Every day? No. Probably eat carrots and tomatoes daily though.
