Calling all small chested women...

I'm small too. But I'm a runner and I have a lot of friends who say they can't run because of their bigger boobs. Until I had kids I was an A, then after kids I stayed a B. I've always been around 140-150 and no muscle tone. Now I'm working my bum off with running AND weights and who knows, maybe I'll go back to an A, but I'm okay with that!0

I was an average B cup before I had my daughter. After nursing, then losing the baby weight, a 34-B is now a bit roomy for me. I don't mind though, I also would rather be fit and small-chested than overweight with large ones. That's why they invented push-up bras. So, yes you might lose weight in that area, but it's totally fixable.
I had large ones for a short time while nursing my daughter (probably a full C or more), and they totally got in the way. I hated that I couldn't lay on my stomach. It's funny, I always thought I wanted bigger boobs. But once I had them, I couldn't wait for them to go away! I don't mind being a member of the IBTC. Besides, my husband is a butt man.:happy:0 -
I guess, never having really had them in the first place, at least till I was 200 lbs. Now almost being to a healthy weight and having the same ones back, I am perfectly happy with whatever I end up with. I would rather not have them, than keep the 200 lbs I was carrying. LOL0
-
You'll probably lose them, mines went down 2 cup sizes.0
-
I was always really thin until aboutf 35. 5'7" and averaged 130-135. 61 years old now and got up to 212. Present weight is 158. Never ever had boobs and when I gained weight and had them I hated them. When I lost the weight the boobs and belly were the first to go and I love it. Afraid I am not much support.0

I'm 42lbs down and I have lost nothing in my chest...I'm starting to get top heavy, but I'm doing back exercises to help strengthen my back in case the sweater puppies don't go down.....might I say I'm a 34DD....I have 50 more to go...I'm hoping a good portion of them go too.0

As long as your boobs are healthy honor them.
Proud 36B right here.
And my Mom had breast cancer (double mastectomy, chemo, radiation, reconstruction 1 year later)
Be proud of what you have.0 -
I was just joking with my husband earlier about boobs and how it would be awesome if they were made with cartridge and just kept growing. I'm not small chested now anyway. That's the only thing I liked about gaining weight- my boobs got huge. I'm a C cup now, when I was pregnant I was a FF. Sadly, when I lose weight the first place it always goes is my boobs. On the plus size, bigger boobs are a pain in the butt when you're working out. They're in the way and they cause back pain. I have to wear a regular underwire bra, followed by a sports bra, followed by a shirt with a built in bra top just to keep mine from bouncing so hard when running.0

I've been rethinking my goal weight because of this.
I've gone from a 38C to a 34C & even though it doesn't sound much it's made a HUGE difference. I don't want to lose any more boobage so I'm thinking about just staying at the weight I am, which isn't far from goal weight & working on toning now.
Please see my comment on healthy boobs. (above). You may want to keep going with your goals and just make sure those boobs you have stay healthy. Trust me.0 -
I used to be an A, gained weight, became a B, now i'm on my way towards A again. Don't mind it at all, it makes my life so much easier in the gym/running/horsebackriding/rockclimbing, that on the occasional evening out I have a really good padded wonderbra type bra which works wonders. Embrace your body, you are beautiful just the way you are!:flowerforyou:0
-
my boobs were the first to go
I was a 36 C when I was 10.
I'm 20 now, quite a bit thinner (weird, I know) and a 34 A. The girls shrunk.
sorry, just being honest0 -
When I was 133 I had almost a full C, now I am barely a B at 118 but I guess as long as they are in proportion I am happy. As long as you're exercising along with losing weight I think even if they get smaller they won't get saggy or anything. I think very fast weight loss causing more sagging. Quality over quantity! (thats what I keep telling myself at least lol)0
-
I started as a 34C, but according to my fiancé, I'm losing them.0

I wish I had small boobs. I've been wishing this all my life.
I'm hoping after I've lost these last pregnancy pounds, my boobs will just go away. Maybe a bit of wishful thinking. They tend to stick around no matter how skinny I've been in the past Been a large-chested lady all my life, and I've never even been overweight. Eventually had a breast reduction at 18 (kids at school can be so cruel and I was teased mercilessly) and I still wish they were smaller, 8 years later.
I get pangs of jealousy when I see a lady with a nice set of neat and small boobs. It's so much easier to create the illusion of larger boobs... You smaller ladies have chicken fillets and push up bras... Try making them look smaller, it's basically impossible.
Small boobs win!0 -
I really can't encourage very much. I have lost 25 lbs and it seems to be mostly from my chest :sad:0
-
I have always been small chested and thought I wanted biggeto be bigger until now. I had a baby in November, they are huge and I dont like them. They make me feel fat. They giggle all over the place and I can't wait for them to go back to normal. Who really cares how big your chest is. If you are in shape then it doesnt really matter anyway.0
-
More than anything do I want to lose my boobs. When/If I do, I'll be sure to ship them your way if you lose yours.0

I'm a 42DDD, I'm actually happy at the prospect of them going away. >.>0

Ahh biggest frustration... Since I was about 14 I've always been well endowed and had a 34/36D. After I gave birth and breast fed, there was no immediate change. After I dropped weight and got down to 135, my boobs took a beating I haven't even bought a new bra in the last year beause I've been so devasted. Although when I was V.S. the other day getting something special for my husband on V-day, I fit into a 34B!!!
It's not always that more is beter but when you're used to having something and it's gone, it makes a big difference. For men who are trying to understand this, I think the only comprable thing is when a man loses his hair. So imagine how that feels for men, it's the same thing for women who lose their boobs during weight loss. IT SUCKS!!! Maybe we can find a plastic surgeon who will sponsor MFP and help us girls (and our "girls") out!!0 -
I am totally losing mine, also. I take comfort in the fact that there are some beautiful stars (Kate Hudson comes to mind) who are small chested and don't seem to mind at all. I'm pretty sure that when I reach my goal weight I'll quit wearing a bra for the most part. Last time I was at the weight I want to be, I could've, but I was obsessed with looking bigger so I always wore a push-up. I planned at that point to get new ones, but now I'm glad I didn't.
P.S. My very good male friend (ok, so he's gay, whatever) told me that the nipple/areola are the sexiest part anyway, so that always makes me feel good. Hehe.0 -
I look like a 12 year old girl after breastfeeding all 3 of my babies and losing all my weight. At times I talk about a boob job and feel not-so-sexy when my husband looks at bigger chests. Then sometimes I think-oh well, the rest of my body looks pretty damn good for having 3 babies. Who cares what he thinks or any one else. Ill stick to the push up or add a cup bras!! Just depends on if u go by your perspective or what u think others *like*. But yeah I've been there, thought that too0

I am so scared that when I lose another 40+ lbs I will lose what I have of my boobs. I'm 5'6'' and a B cupish. I was hoping some people could provide success stories that are small chested too, so I don't feel so bad about myself haha. I've lost 15 lbs already, but I still have 69 lbs to go, so they haven't changed much.
Please, help a girl out.
Victoria's secret will have to become your best friend!!! They have awesome bras and bras that make you look 2 cups sizes bigger, they are spendy but in my mind worth it, its the only kind of bra I wear!! Even when i was big chested, I used to be 38 D to a DD, now a B cup, its sad.0 -

Boobs are boobs.0 -
D to B, and happier for it, though I've noticed that books I carry in the rain get more damp now than they did before.0

Please don't take this the wrong way...
But not all of us guys are all about a large chest.
Just saying.....:glasses:
He's right... quality men value a variety of body shapes.
I came in here just to say this too. Don't worry about it so much. If your man is gonna leave because you've gotten fit and lost a bit of your chest, then I say you should kick him out now and get it over with, he's not worth it. If you're worried about not attracting a man because of it, then you shouldn't - think of it as a way to weed out the superficial.
I'd much rather whatever my wife has than any fake ones... Gross. Don't do it... Unless your job depends on it. Then maybe change careers.0 -
I worry about how much of my twins I will lose, but not much. The way I see it is, my goal weight is set to a higher amount than when I hit this height at my healthiest. I just think of how when I was at my "uber goal weight" of 215, I still had DDDs, so I can theorize that that was my "natural and healthy" breast size, what developed from hormones and genetics and not from weight gain. I guess the question is, can you remember being at your goal weight before? If so, did you have B cups then? If so, odds are you won't really lose them. If you were flat chested (which is rarely the case, gaining weight doesn't sprout boobs, it just adds to what you already have) then you can safely bet you will be again. If not, I wouldn't worry so much.
There is a little merit to the idea of working the pectorals to sustain fuller, perkier breasts. I would say, if you notice them "deflating" add some chest developement to you routine.0 -
Well, no hope to offer, but sympathy and to let you know it could be worse. At my heaviest of near 250 I would have still worn an A cup if they had made them with bands large enough. Now if I measure properly, theoretically I should wear something like a 42AA. Of course, that size doesn't actually exist... So I end up wearing stretchy, bra-like undergarments for work where I feel socially obligated to wear something. Otherwise I just don't bother to wear anything resembling a bra.
I don't need huge boobs, but I'd really like to be more proportionate. It's awful trying to find clothing that works other than plain knit T-shirts and some sweaters.
Also, there seem to be lots of small chested ladies here, so if anyone knows where to get really odd sized bras, please share.0 -

I felt the same way after I had my daughter. When they got big, I thought I looked fat. So glad they finally went away!0
