I LOVE mug brownies...unfortuantely, most recipes cost around 350 cal/serving. After MUCH googling, I found this delicious recipe:

2 vegetable oil (tbs)
2 water (tbs)
1 drop vanilla extract
1 dash salt
1 pinch instant coffee (powder optional)
3 granulated sugar (tbs)
2 unsweetened cocoa powder (tbs)
2 all purpose flour (tbs)
1 In a 12 oz coffee mug, mix water, oil, salt, vanilla and coffee, if using. Whisk well.
2 Add cocoa powder, whisk well. Add sugar, whisk well. Add flour, whisk well.
3 Microwave for 60-75 seconds: 60 seconds for a molten bottom, 75 for uniformly done. I normally choose 60.
4 Enjoy with a spoon and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Careful, brownie will be hot.
I skin the ice cream, obviously, and didn't add coffee to mine (though that sounds delicious) Turned out really well!0 -
I wonder if you can use applesauce instead of the oil.

1 TBSP sugar
1 TBSP unsweetened cocoa
a pinch of baking soda
a pinch of salt
1 TBSP of low fat yoghurt
There ya go, I think this actually is low cal. Comes out about 100ish cals depending on your ingredients.0 -
No need to use oil when making muffins, cupcakes, cakes, cookies... Replace the oil with lowfat yogurt or unsweetened applesauce. I have been doing that for a while now it comes out great.0

This recipe is NOT 100 calories. I just made it and tracked all the ingredients and it came to 475 calories.0

no pudge brownies are also pretty awesome in the microwave. just need the mix and some non fat vanilla yogurt. low cal and easy =D
i make my microwaved no pudge cappuccino flavored brownies strictly with apple sauce. and if you add a little extra applesauce it comes out like a pudding cake/chocolate dome. its amazing.0 -

Same recipe my wife has made for a while now.
It is close to 450 odd calories.
I have her make mine with 1 oil and 1 water, or cut the whole recipe in half.

also, the nutritional analysis on the website for that brownie says 201 mg of fat which would be .201 grams of fat... how can that be when 2 tbs or veg oil has 28 grams of fat0
