Wow, you excluded Jason Takes Manhattan and Jason Goes to Hell, but didn't exclude Jason X...Most people will take anything but Jason X.
Anyway, here's a short list: All of the Friday the 13th movies, All of the Halloween movies, all Nightmare on Elm Street, Devil's Rejects, House of 1000 Corpses, the early Child's Play movies, the early Leprechaun movies, IT (I am afraid of clowns). I'm a huge horror fan so it would take far too long to list all the movies.0 -

Yes the first leprechaun movie was good, Ya jason x was allright but it had hot characters so thats a plus for me lol.0 -
Sadly, horror flicks took all the excitement out of them once I grew up (atleast thats what I tell myself)0

I personally don't classify it as true "horror", though most people would, but I live and breathe the Saw series. I could go into much deeper detail, but suffice it to say that without the character of Jigsaw, and everything he stands for, I would not be here, trying to take better care of myself.0

I love the way they invented for him to be a villain. He is kind of the anti-villain. You may live or die, but you'll learn a lesson. The Saw series was the most innovative horror series to come out in a very long time.0 -
I love saw!!!!!!!!0

Halloween II
Friday the 13th pt. 1 - 4 & 7

Yeah, he's actually the good guy, in a round-about, kinda messed up way.

Freakin clowns...I hate clowns...Yet I love horror movies that tend to utilize them more often than any other genre of film....0 -
The ring was ok, some parts I loled.
Saw is more of a suspense movie to me.0 -
Eden Lake is my favorite...
Followed by Saw if that counts...0 -
I love scary films. IT is one of my favourites. I love Pennywise lol. The Shining is up there too. One Stephen King movie I cant watch is Carrie...Im freaked out by that crucifix and the whole religion thing behind it.
Im not one for the gore films and Ive seen my fair share of them. Unfortunately my husand is a big girl and wont go to the cinema to see scary things with me lol0 -

A lot of Saw fans...I consider Saw to be in the Horror genre simply because of the levels of blood/gore. Horror as a genre encompasses many sub-genres and many suspense titles may actually fall into horror. Saw being the biggest. Se7en is a suspense movie but is labeled as horror in many places.0 -
I Love horror films!! you guys have pretty much listed all the wicked classics! but favorite film of all time American Psycho! Patrick Bateman rocks!0

Arrgghhh me too. I actually have severe coulrophobia.0 -
I love Saw! Cant bring myself to sit through The Shining even after 5+ attempts and my fav all time horror movie is Silence of the Lambs. I think that's probably more of a suspense though.0

I'm not a fan of those typical ones, or the ones that make a mockery of real world issues, or real events.
I do like a good movie though with a good plot line and good characters and twists, if it comes under the catagory of horror then awesome :}
I find typical horrors get repetitive and boring, some of the worst being things like one missed call and friday the thirteenth. Those were completely pointless movies. I finished them thinking had just waisted a couple of hours of life
But im not opposed to getting a nice good scare once in a while if the plot line has thought put to it ^.^0 -
IT, of course. I just don't like clowns. I like The Hills Have Eyes (remake), and The Last Exorcism. That movie was creepy!!0
-
Has anyone watched the Masters of Horror series?0
-
Eden Lake is my favorite...
I've watched that...and you couldn't pay me to watch it again :O Brilliantly done though.
I think Descent is another one I'll never watch again, (that's the one with the creepy white guys in a cave?)
Nothing immediately comes to mind as a favorite though.0 -
I love Saw too. Drove all the way to London from Glasgow just for Thorpe Park and the live maze. It was dissapointing.
I also love all of the Halloween movies, especially the Rob Zombie remakes and also House of 1000 Corpses and Devils Rejects is one of my favourite movies ever.
Jacobs Ladder is another one of my favourites. Started to list the rest but it would never end so I gave up!0 -
The Exorcist, the only true scary/horror movie0
-
Horror or slasher??
I'm big into Japanese horror films....Watch Audition sometime. The only film Rob Zombie could not stomach.
There was a trilogy of terror film on TV in the seventies...The zuni doll that comes to life is creepy0 -
Let see the nightmare on elm street series, The Oman (the orignal), and I thought Insidius was pretty good0
-
Session 9, Audition, In my Skin, In the Mouth of Madness (old one, but I loved it), Shining, It, just about any Stephen King and Clive Barker - Nightbreed, After Dark, Exorcist, Omen, Psycho (original), oh man, the list goes on and on - love me some horror, hack and slash, mindf*ck, demented, perverted and disgusting movies0
-
Don't really have any favorites, I usually enjoy foreign movies the most. I really enjoyed 'Let the Right One In' and 'Martyrs'.
Other than that, I usually try to find the most disturbing movies I can as I'm a weirdo.0 -
The original Hitcher was great for suspense.
Where are the Evil Dead fans?!?!?!0 -
I love so many, it's hard to remember them all, but I especially love Japanese horror. Love all the Ju-On movies, Audition as others mentioned, The Wishing Stairs, Kairo (the original Japanese version of Pulse), The Eye, Reincarnation, Omen, Rosemary's Baby, Three Extremes, Cursed, One Missed Call (Japanese version), all the Tomei movies, Ringu, and Prayer Beads. I know there's a ton more I can't think of right now, but great topic!0
-
Oh wow, thanks for reminding me about Let the Right One In and Evil Dead! When that lady's head laughed in Evil Dead, I thought I was going to die! lol.0
