logging Weight Training

Is there a reason why whenever you log weight training workouts you don't get any additional calorie burn added to your daily callorie calculation?
I can spend an hr at the gym only on weights easily and when i log it i get nothing out of it?
Just wondering if it's just my profile or if thats the way the calorie calculation work and i just need to deal.

Use the strength training option under cardio to get some calories for the weight lifting workout.0

Thanks everyone, Callorie counts seems kind of low. 240 callories for spendng 60 min doing Squats, Deadlifts, Romaniad Deadlifts etc. Sure felt a lot harder than 240 Cal.0
