Is there a reason why whenever you log weight training workouts you don't get any additional calorie burn added to your daily callorie calculation?

I can spend an hr at the gym only on weights easily and when i log it i get nothing out of it?

Just wondering if it's just my profile or if thats the way the calorie calculation work and i just need to deal.

  • Also log it as "strength training" in the cardio option.

Use the strength training option under cardio to get some calories for the weight lifting workout.
  • Thanks everyone, Callorie counts seems kind of low. 240 callories for spendng 60 min doing Squats, Deadlifts, Romaniad Deadlifts etc. Sure felt a lot harder than 240 Cal.
