I weigh 186 and am 5'7" I wear a 12 but it is starting to fit pretty loose.
  • I am 5'7" and 194lbs. I wear an 18. When I was 140, I wore a size 10.
  • I'm 5'9", 186 lbs currently, but hoping to loose at lease 30-40 lbs. I currently wear a 14, but some of my 14's are tight and some are comfortable. I have 10s in my closet waiting for me to fit into them again, I was about 150 when I last fit in those. So yes, it does depend allot on the brand and your shape. Found that Target is NOT a "curvy" woman's friend! Even at my smallest, I went in the store wearing a size 10 and kept going up in their jean sizes, once I hit an 18 and still found them snug I left and went to Beals and got some well fitting 10 talls.

Would be happy to have anyone friend me. I could use the support and I'm trying to motivate my friends to keep on track to.

5'9" and 186 lbs. I'm a 14 in the waist, but it's big in the buns. I am totally against muffin tops though, so I probably wear a size bigger than I actually need. If i have elastic shorts- like running shorts or yoga pants, I DO NOT want them to dig in at all. They need to sit nicely on my love handles, not dig in!!
  • 6'2 (and yes, I'm female), 209 and sit pretty comfortably at 16 although I'm getting close to 14 :) Shirts are always XL (mainly for length and shoulder width).

Also, after having kids I've definitely seen my weight be redistributed to different areas. I used to be very small everywhere, but now I hold a lot of my weight in my butt and upper legs, and can't seem to get rid of the baby belly completely :(

I'm 5'8" and a pear shape. Even when I weighed 143 I was still wearing size 10 pants. (Right now I'm around 170 and in tight size 12s).

About 20 years ago I was around 120 lb and was wearing size 8s. So yes, sizes have changed!
  • I'm 5'7" 1/2
    162lbs
    size 8 skinny jeans
    size 10 regular jeans
    size M top

the reason I wear 8/10 jeans is my stomach. Hoping to get that down with cardio & Zumba!

    I am 5'7 .. 171 and this morning put on a size 8 :D

I'm 5'10" (an inch too tall for the post), but just another example of how differently everyone's body shape is. I weigh 167 and JUST got back into my size 12 (pre-pregnancy) jeans this morning--I was very excited! Guess I am pear-shaped, huh? :)

I am 5'9" and 207 was a 16, 171 is an 11 now, so by that logic you would be a 9 (or there about)

I'm 5'7'', 260 pounds, and a size 18/20 depending on the brand. I'm more or less an hourglass (a big hourglass, but an hourglass all the same!)
  • Hi there! I am 5'8 and weigh 210, I am either a 12 or 14 depending on the brand. I am looking to get back to 150, and at that weight I was in a size 9.

I'm 5'6' or 5'7"... I weigh about 170 and am in about a size 10-12 pants. Am hoping for 148 and about a size 6.
  • I am 5'7" 246lbs and I wear a size 18/20. When I was in high school and weighed 150 I wore 16/18. All of my weight goes to my hips and behind. I hate it but oh well. lol
  • 5'8'', 144 pounds...depending on the brand of clothing, I can wear a Small, Medium, or even Large (if it's from the Junior department)--and the actual numerical size is usually a 4 or 6, which also depends on the brand.

I'm trying to get down to my "fighting" weight of 136, but my clothing size probably won't change a whole lot, because of my shape and build. (Athletic in the sense I have muscular thighs (under the cellulite!) and calves with broad shoulders...but still have definite hourglass shape).

I'm 5'7" (and a half) and weigh 170. I wear size 14 (but they're pretty loose now). Hoping to get down to 135 or 140. I'm definitely a pear shape, which developed post-college (weighed 135 - 140 in college, size 6), so not sure what size I'll get down to.
