    I once went 16 years without sex. Finally ended that drought on my 16th birthday in the front seat of a 1951 Plymouth Belvedere. July 31, 1970.

    That's not entirely true. I did start having sex around 1966; I just didn't have a partner until 1970.

    After I left my ex it was 2 years without until I met my husband.

    With him the longest we went without was about 6 weeks after each of my kids. Worse 6 weeks of my life.

    2 year dry spell. Surprised i didn't kill anyone. But has a lady now, so anything over 2 days its a worry factor lol .

    My husband (then fiance) gave it up before the wedding for three months which was only possible because we were on opposite sides of the world. I tell ya, when he flew in, our resolve crumbled... it was about 1 hour after he landed :laugh:

    Married 10 years and it happens regularly...cardioxxx...lol! I guess 6 weeks after the birth of babies...

    That's what I was thinking. It's been 18 years, and I think 6 weeks is the longest duration and that was right after having babies.

    And for those techincal gurus, I was induced with all but one, so I squezed in one last session before the arrival. :blushing:

    Thank you! It's been over a year for me, and-- do not misunderstand, I LOVE IT (more than a lot of my female friends, apparently)-- it is just not that big a deal. Not that I never think about it or wish things were different, but I'm not obsessed. I would really love to only ever be with 1 other man, and I have apparently not yet met him. Once in a while it's like Tom Petty says, the waiting is the hardest part... but most of the time it's a non-issue. I just think of the amount of release I am going to require when the time comes... :explode:
