Just come out - it is not as scary or as weird as you think - your parents will still love you.
Re-think your degree choice - it will not be of any use!
Seek help. You are depressed not mad.
Listen to your mother...no matter how annoying/wrong you think she is.
You are not fat...but you do need to watch your weight young lady!
And for gods sake COME OUT!!!0 -
Relax, bring it down a notch, remember you are a lady first and a clown last
Take school seriously. A college education is no joke and a good one will make you sooo much happier in the end! Masters, masters, masters!
Incorperate exercise now. A 17 y/o metabolism is so much more flexable than a 25 y/o one.0 -
"Stop smoking now!" I wouldn't have all the health problems I do now and I wouldnt have piled the weight on and would be a darn sight richer0

I'd say - size 14 IS slim! Enjoy it while you can!0

People make the designer clothes, clothes dont make the people.
Stop thinking you are all that.
You can only push people so far until they bend.
Karma is a *****.
Mr.perfect really wasn't so perfect.
Apperciate your grandparents more, they will be there when the world turns its back on you.
Be a leader,Not a follower.
If you put your mind to it,you can do it!
Continue your education,if not you'll regret it.
Dont worry so much about guys.
Everything happens for a reason.
Stop looking for Mr.right, you'll meet him where you least expect it.
You have to love yourself before you can really love anyone.
Its okay not to party!0 -
Give yourself a break and don't be so hard on yourself!!
Focus on the things you enjoy and are good at.
Believe in yourself so much more than you do and be positive (negative things aren't important and are distructive!)
Move out to get away from other people bringing you down.
Exercise and Eat Healthy as a Vegan (you will feel 100% better for it!)0 -
Keep playing basketball!
I would have been fit and lean to this day with some epic skills, haha.0 -
1. Don't try to please other people by trying to be something you're not.
2. You will not be marrying your 17 year old boyfriend and you'll get your heart broken more times and it's ok, it makes you stronger.
3. You'll won't be as skinny as you are now so start working out.0 -
Dont worry about boys, dont care what people think of you, start playing piano again and pick up some weights!0
-
I would tell myself to follow my dreams, don't be afraid of failure and listen to myself. Don't let others tell you; you can't do something.
I would also tell myself to start exercising even though I was tiny, muscle is sexier than just plain skinny anyways!0 -
I AM 17!!! OMG!
Reading this is actually interesting! I always wonder in ten years time will I think my body now is good, or will I be better!
WAHH!
If i could tell my 7 year old self something though, I would say... food doesn't make you feel better forever, it's okay to be upset and cry mummy won't hate you, just tell her and ignore the boys at school, because they might tease you now, but they all want to be your boyfriend now hehehehe
(I had really depressing moments in my childhood)0 -
Rest is more important than training!
Dont run for more than an hour!
Dont eat that whole box of Chips Ahoy!
Compound movements are 1000x more effective than isolation work.0 -
when I was 17 I had no idea about healthy living whatsoever. i ate anything i wanted, whenever i wanted. never exercised. i have never been thin because of this. i wish i could go back and educate myself. i used to eat tubs of cookie dough, brownie mix, fast food all the time, junk food. i wish my parents had raised me healthily.0

I would tell myself to stop listening to my mother. I am not a normal angsty teenager, I am depressed due to a thyroid disorder that will finally be diagnosed in about 9 years.
I would tell myself to stay the course it gets better - that at least I did :-)0 -
get up and move.... and don't stop0

Don't start smoking - quitting is a b!tch and will take way too long.
Stay in shape - keep working out.
Buy as much Microsoft stock as you can RIGHT FRIGGIN NOW and convince dad to do the same. Then buy [the usual suspects]0 -
"If I could write a letter to me...."
I'd say that I was going to be OK - that I did not need to waste the next 3 years of my life in pain for a lost relationship that wasn't going to change (I wasted the next few years wallowing in pain, became anti-social and 10x more lazy then I already was)
Exercise would help with the stress I felt.
I would say that I need to spend less time in front of the computer/tv and more time with friends/family/ and outside doing some kind of physical activity.
I would also say to cherish the time I had living with my Mom instead of being in a rush to move out.0 -
Save your money........Because if you don't you'll own nothing in 7 years time........DOH!!0
