I downloaded MFP in September as an app on my phone, but I didn't think counting calories would have helped my weight gain situation. My boyfriend had mentioned how one of his friends had lost weight with a calorie counter a few months ago and he said it was called "Myfitnesspal" and I thought "Hmm wait a minute, I have that App" So I gave it a go. . .

The start of my Journey 35 pounds heavier!

    I am very short only 5 feet tall and my bmi is 37% which is in the level of obesity >.<
    My doctor said the average weight for someone my size is 117-120
    I prefer to be 130 ( :
    So that's my goal for this year!

    Fantastic! I know what you mean I am 5"2" and my doctor said to aim for 115-120, but I am aming for 125-128!!! Keep up teh good work!
