I totally love the diet soda cake. Instead of using frosting you can use light cool whip to top it off. DELICIOUS!!!

OK-never tried it, but a friend told me applesause. Hmmm....

Applesauce replaces the oil NOT the egg. You still need to put in eggs or egg whites.

    Oh yeah, thats right...
But you still don't NEED eggs. The poster with the flaxseed was spot on.

A can of pumpkin and half a cup of liquid works fine with most cake mixes. I usually make devil's food cake with pumpkin and coffee. You don't taste the coffee at all, it just helps bring out the flavor of the chocolate. The batter seems too thick but it always turns out great.

Allrecipes.com has a recipe called Crazy Cake...eggless..you use baking soda and vinegar in it. The recipe is from scratch....but very easy and Oh, so moist...don't really need frosting.

I mix it up with half wheat flour, apple sauce for oil, and did try it with splenda, but it tasted too "off", so sugar it is o_O

    Very good!
