Where do I start?

I would love to create a fitness plan to help me with my goals. Right now I'm basically just doing as much cardio as I can fit in, and muscle toning exercises here and there, but I really don't know if I'm doing the right thing to achieve my goals. So where do I start??

    Well I want to lose about 15 lbs and do an over all tone up on my body, especially my midsection.

    You need to do more strength training.

    Just get the trainer at your gym to take you around the weights machines for a little bit. Then create your own circuit. Carry a little book with you. The trainer will help you set reps and set. I'd aim for heavy - 3 sets of 6-12 reps to failure.
