I wasnt crazy about the ab ripper at first. i felt like throwing up and it also felt like a leg workout. I was used to his power 90 ab routine and also turbofire abs. I decided to give ab ripper another go. it went much better. still not a huge fan of it but i will stick it out and see how i like it beginning of next week!

Hey all, I have a small question.. I am on day 9 when will I see numbers on the scale drop? I know I shouldn't expect a ton and I don't but my weight has stayed dead even! I feel like I am noticing small changes in my body but not sure if that's a mental thing haha! Have not skipped a day just wondering what everyone else's experience is with this?

hi---is this picture of you on your profile current? If so, I don't know if you will lose much weight....you look like you are right where you should be! I have been maintaining for almost 2 years and just went through a full round. I did get leaner and stronger but I didn't lose any weight I may have even gained one or 2. Anyway, in terms of starting to notice changes, I noticed a little bit mid-2nd phase, but more changes took place in the 3rd phase. I was wondering the same thing at first and that was the advice I heard from others as well, that more happens later in the 2nd, and in the 3rd phase......

yes, Ab Ripper....horrible. It just doesn't seem to ever get easier. But I think the beauty of it is that it's so short. When you are ready to really give up, it's almost over anyway, so you just finish it, then feel better afterwards.

I just started week 2, phase 1 of my 2nd Round of P90x. I had finished my first round, took a few days off, then started up again on Classic. I did Chest and Back yesterday and that is such a killer! The only thing that is nice about my 2nd round is that I can actually do 7 or 8 pull ups now from the start; when I first started I couldn't do any! Small changes are wonderful!

    have a great day!

You look in pretty good shape now so I might take a bit longer. The round I started on Jan 1, I weighted around 128 - 129 and today I am at 118.5. So that is about 10 - 11 pounds in 3 months (this is my last recovery week). I think I lost about 3 pounds the first month and maybe 1 0r 2 the second. The rest came off in the last 4 weeks with the majority towards the end.

I don't want to post my pics in my profile but if anyone want to see the progress I went throught you can go here:

It compares my starting point in May 2010, 90 days later and a pic I took this past Sunday. I didn't take a pic on Jan 1s because I looked pretty close to the July 2010 pic (only a pound or 2 heavier and less tone).

I think this will give you an idea of what the program can do for you if you commit to it.

A few things: I did the classic version on both rounds and only missed 3 workouts on my first round and about a week total this time around. The nutrition I followed was the portion control (macro ratios). My goal was to stay as close as possible to the ratios for each phase and didn't get discourage if I was off on some days.

Feel free to friend me if you want. I have done P90X and Brazilian Butt Lift.

Todays day 2 for me. OH MY LIFE! im so sore! my arms, triceps especially. my armpits even hurt! I really enjoyed plyometrics today though.

Be used to being sore for the first couple of weeks. I think that I used to use a chair in the shower the first week because I needed to sitdown and put my head down to wash my hair because I could lift my arms. I felt liket a bus jus run me over.

It will get better. I promise you!!

I don't think a group was created. I would create one but don't know how to do it.

There are a couple of P90X groups with specific start dates.
