ok so i just made this and the batter was YUM....

but when i cooked it in the microwave it wouldnt get to the same consistency as shown in the pic....

so i cooked it for about 1min 45 seconds and it RUINED my ramekin and my spoon, it was rock solid and it smelled like it had burst into flames, no joke. my house stinks like burnt food.

sooo i'm just gonna use this as a way to get in my cookie batter addiction while not having to worry about raw eggs :P

I was worried that, without leavening (I'm not really good at baking, but I do know a little), that the cake would be dense. It turns out that this is not the case! It was pretty good!

I get 85 calories with Almond Milk (cuz I had it). But go with what you come up with.

What size "piece of dark chocolate" brings it to this calorie count? Any find a difference in taste with almond vs soy milk? Are there other non-dairy options?

Just made this.. YUM! I was craving a chocolate hit and this was great. I used 2 dark choc melts in the middle, would be great with white choc. So quick and easy, I willl definitely be making these again. Thanks for sharing :)

I've given up chocolate for Lent, so this is DEFINITELY going on my "to try" list for Easter! :)

ETA OK, I've just set it into my recipe generator and mine comes out at 181 calories. Still, a yummy chocolate cakey treat for under 200 calories is good enough for me.

Using generic products - skimmed milk, plain white flour and dark chocolate. The majority of the calories come from the cocoa powder (53) and the flour (51), (45) come from the sugar, chocolate (21) and skimmed milk (11). And I used reduced sodium salt, because that's what I have in my kitchen.

Just wanted to give the heads up in case anyone is logging this as a lower calorie treat than it is - I wouldn't want anyone to screw up their eating plans! ;)
