I hope you are proud of yourself. That's a lot of hard work and dedication!! You can tell your change not only through the weight loss but also in your attitude in the photos. The top 3 you look sad, and the bottom 3 you have the sweetest smirky smile! Go you!! This was an awesome accomplishment!0

You know, the mental stuff is the hardest part to deal with. I know how that is and deal with it daily. HOWEVER, you have made amazing progress and should feel even more validated by everyone posting here! Thanks for sharing your photos and story. It made me feel better. I feel like there's hope in sight for me too.0

Wow great job!
Both in your physical progress and your mental!! BOTH are huge obstacles to overcome. You should be incredibly proud of yourself!0 -
Congratulations! You look great and are very pretty!
I can totally relate to a lot of your points. I grew up eating junk and way too much of it. I have body dismorphic disorder to an extent. I have little photo evidence of my past and current fatness, so on here there are only motivational photos of me when I was thin (yet ALWAYS thought I was still too fat). I also had a lot of self loathing, self-abusive behaviors and mind sets and I have a tendency to get furious at myself for not looking how I want to, even things I can't help like my face or hair. Thankfully, I have grown a little more mellow about it.
Thanks for the very interesting and inspiring success story, keep up the good work!0 -

Wow. I really didn't expect such a massive, positive response.
It was a massive step for me to post this today, and what with all these comments and messages and stuff... Right now, I just don't know what to say. I'm completely overwhelmed. Some of your lovely comments have had me in tears.
Thank you all, so much for your words.
For those of you who can relate to the mental side of things, all I can tell you is that things will gradually click into place. You'll see sense, usually periodically combined with losing it. I have my boyfriend, who is my carer, to ground me when I start to lose it. I'm scarred physically and mentally and will be dealing with both for likely the rest of my life, but I constantly try to better myself, otherwise we just sit and stagnate until we die. Life is nothing without adversity, sorrow and challenge. I would rather have all my mental illnesses and try as hard as I can everyday like I do now than to sit and not grow.
(I am sorry if that doesn't make very much sense, don't worry I'm gonna leave in a minute). Don't ever accept pity, and don't stress over times when you lose it completely. I've had months of psychosis at some points. You get better and move on. You get ill again, get better and move on. Again and again. It may seem like a pointless endless cycle but it DOES make you stronger, even if it's just a little bit.
Ah, I digress.
For those of you who have asked me things or are waiting on me for one thing or another, I PROMISE I will get to you as soon as I feel more equipped for it. Responding to people can be a trying and lengthy task for me and I want to make sure I do it correctly.
Once more, thank you.0 -
