well done! I've only been running since the beginning of the year, but I love how easy it is to get ready and get out.0

That's terrific! Keep it up -- if you can run 1 mile, you can run 2! I remember my first mile... one mistake I made, however, was not putting the treadmill on an incline -- I ran with it completely level so when I went outside to run it felt like I was completely starting over. I could literally run for 5 miles with no walk breaks on my treadmill and then went to the gravel 1 mile track with my husband and could barely run 1/4 of mile without a walk break.0

How much of an incline do you recommend? I've been running level too, I didn't think of that!0 -

Awesome job! Before you know it...you're be running a 1 1/2, then 2 miles, and so on. Just push yourself to go a little further each time you run...even if it's just for a 1/4 mile.0

I have heard the incline should be at 2%. I can't do that on the treadmill where I work out because they have it to shut off after 25min. So then I have to wait for it to stop and then start it again and that is so annoying! If I set it to do a 5K it won't shut off until I am done, but for some reason on the 5K setting you can't use incline. It is very frustrating.
Anyway, CONGRATS!!!! I know exactly how exciting it is. Be very proud of yourself! I am now up to running 15min at 5mph and I honestly can not believe it! I can only run 4min outside though, it just feels impossible outside!0 -

That's awesome! I can't wait to get up to 5 mph. Occasionally when I start to get tired I'll up it to 5.0 for like a minute just to get my blood pumping again, but I'm next to death after that haha0 -
I totally am always inspired by you!!! great work!!!
I set the treadmill at a 1% incline0 -
I know from experience that is an awesome feeling! Keep up the great work!0
