    Sorcha Griannon... Fiery Sunhouse in Irish Gaelige. I chose each name separately, out of different books, only later learning the meanings (and that they go together well). I've been Sorcha for so long (1999-ish) I answer to it like my own name. I also use it at Ren faire

    I adopted an adult pure breed dog from a family friend, her name was Jessie and she was the sweetest lab/dog I had ever met. I eventually got a hold of her papers and her full name was Jessie Dadgumredclay so I sorta started using it as a username here and there. RIP Jessie

    Mine is referring to my Alma Mater UCLA Bruins and not the Boston Bruins of the NHL. And the 78 was my jersey number while playing football there.

    Mine is the first dog I rescued from a puppy mill, she was a miniature schnauzer & her name was Noogie. I went on to adopt her ~ 98 is the year I rescued her.

    She was the best dog I ever had ~ she passed away in 2007 & I miss her!! :heart:

    translated literally it means "you have understood" but a better meaning in english is "do you understand now?" , it was a quote from a book I read when I was younger about a child that aspired to be the best fisherman but all the generations of his family had been farmers. Basically it's the quote the father sais to his son before he dies and the son realises that his father only wanted him to be happy and understands that he accepts him being a fisherman.

    So someone said that my screen name of 'Kara' on facebook wasn't ridiculous enough for me, so I created a ridiculously long name Karalopolous McKitten and thought "yes, this name fits me. Hence forth I shall be called Karalopolous McKitten".
    however I didn't want to have the same exact name on MFP.
