I usually eat mine with blueberries and cinnamon. I love Greek yogurt - such an easy way to get some serious protein in your diet!

I love Chobani Greek yogurt. I usually buy the plain and add fruit, maybe some Splenda, maybe some extract (real ones...vanilla, almond, banana, etc.), light jam, raisins, cinnamon, shredded coconut...endless...
Some ideas for what to do with Greek yogurt I read recently:
    - Add chopped cucumbers, dill and a pinch of salt for a quick Greek tsatziki.
    - Instead of milk or sweetened yogurts, toss some in your smoothie for a thicker texture.
    - As an alternative to heavy cream when making alfredo sauce for pasta.
    - Mix with chocolate syrup for an easy fruit dip for a party platter.
    - Add a pinch of salt for a rich substitute for sour cream.
    - Stir into pureed vegetable soup to add thickness and protein. (love this one!)
    - Add chopped fruit and sweetener and put in freezer
    - Use instead of mayo in chicken, tuna, and egg salad
    - Frosting for cake; just add vanilla or almond extract and a bit of sweetener (I guess this is for the cake mixes made with soda or pumpkin)
    - Add spices and a bit of milk for a quick, guilt-free creamy salad dressing.
    - As a pre-grill marinade for chicken or lamb: a bit of yogurt, za'atar, lemon zest, pepper flakes and pinch of salt.
    - Add horseradish to make a fish or shrimp dip.
    - Mix with skim milk and use instead of buttermilk for pancakes.

For the person who mentioned Cabot Greek yogurt...I bought it recently because it was on super sale. I got vanilla. At first taste, I thought it was different than any I'd had before, but I decided I really liked it on the second taste. I always add fresh fruit.

I stir in a scoop of protein powder, some nuts and chopped fruit for an awesome after-workout snack!! Or I mix it half-and-half with ranch dressing for a yummy veggie dip.

I actually really love the taste of plain greek yoghurt...although I find the fat free version a bit...erm...tangy(?) so I stick with the full fat one. I usually add some pine kernels, sunflower seeds and dessicated coconut to it...nommy!!
  • A quarter cup of granola is awesome in Greek Yogurt :)

Another person somewhere on here mentioned mixing a bit of Jell-O Sugar Free/Fat Free pudding mix in with it. I haven't tried it yet but I imagine it's a good way to flavor it without major sugar added.

Fresh fruit is always good. I usually have mine with an apple.

A good alternative to honey is agave nectar.

I keep my Coconut oil in the fridge- so it is Solid.
I like to 'Shred' some of that into my plain yogurt, along with a little honey

My friend just gave me a smoothie recipe the other day with plain Greek yogurt in it and I LOVE it...I use non-fat, plain Oikos. You put one cup of it in the blender with one half-cup skim milk, a sliced banana, two tablespoons of peanut butter (I use Naturally More) and a tablespoon of honey...so good! Almost like a liquified peanut butter and banana sandwich. :)

I use in in place of sour cream, usually. I buy the individual Chiobani 0% yogurts when I want flavor.

A spoon of fruit curd mixed in. Any fruit curd is great but orange curd works best for me.

It seems to me that adding honey would only defeat the purpose of buying Greek yogurt since one reason to get it is for the low sugar count....

Some better ways to use it would be in protein shakes/smoothies. I've also had recipes that used it instead of sour cream.

I use mine for smoothies, creamy honey dijon salad dressing, mixed with a couple of tablespoons of salsa on my taco salad, creamy dill/cucumber dip, mixed with chives on a baked potato....the possibilities are endless!

In order to keep the fat, calories, and sugar as low as possible I add in about 8-10 drops of liquid stevia- I get the SweetLeaf brand. My favorites for plain greek yogurt are English toffee and French vanilla. Sugar free jello pudding mix also works, however, you can send the sodium sky high with that since the sugar free mixes are usually really high in sodium.
  • Some fresh mint, a bit of garlic and a squeeze of lemon. Then dip veges in it. I always have some in the fridge. Could also add some grated cucumber (I don't eat it)
  • I add ranch seasoning and dip raw veggies in it. Delicious!
