This challenge has been going on for awhile and restarts each month. All are welcome. You can start anytime in the month and see how close you can get. To introduce yourself, share a small or unusual NSV (Non Scale Victory).

    NSV- my favorite workout pants no longer fit i almost lost them doing jumping jacks ....guess it is time for new ones :)

    Every time I've tried to lose faster than a half pound per week, I've started feeling lousy and had to drop out. But you inspire me, so I'm posting here just to get this in my "My Topics", so I can follow along and be inspired.

    just started here, but have lost 20 pounds previously and BEST NSV yet has been fitting back into jeans from 5 years ago!

    NSV- Recently signed up for a half marathon to celebrate my 30th birthday, and I have been writing "13.1" on my arm in sharpie every day since!

    SW 261 (9 months pregnant ouch)
    CW 173 (only 9 lbs away from my lowest adult weight 164)
    GW for April: 164
    GW 145 (in a healthy weight range for the first time EVER! woot woot!)

    hi there... new to MFP and getting comfortable with talking with everyone. NSV = being able to do up jeans without sucking my gut in! :)

    I'm new to MFP, so hopefully these challenges help me stay focused!

    NSV - My "nice jeans" from this past summer are now my "fat jeans" (probably not PC to say, or conducive to the weight loss goal, but oh well...)

    This will be my first challenge. I finally have a weight scale so I can participate!

    NSV - I have been able to fit into more of my pre-pregnancy pants and my wedding ring slips onto my finger more easily.

    Hi, I'd like to join in too! No NSV to share except that I'm finally back and ready to lose some weight. I took a few months off for a pregnancy that ended at 2 months with a miscarriage. I have another month or so before we can start trying again so I might as well lose some weight while we wait!

    NSV: Three teachers in my school today (I'm an AP) have said that they mistook me for a student when they first saw me. I'm 39. I am wearing jeans today, but I look good in them. :)

    My favorite pants (own in 3 colors) are so big I have to roll the waistband over now. Bras are in the tightest row of hooks/eyes...started in the loosest row.

    I'm going to a wedding May 5th so losing 5 more pounds for that would be awesome!

    NSV--a nurse I work with who I haven't seen since the end of February was shocked to see me yesterday and said I looked so skinny!

    I tend to weigh myself whenever I feel like it and just record the good ones...not typical but it works for me and I never freak out if its up, I just weigh again the next day...I'll just post whenever I get a good loss =]

    NSV --- I hate running but started recently and I'm beginning to like it. I can finally run a mile without stopping and feeling like I'm going to pass out. Looking for a 5K this summer.
