    1. YOUR 4% goal is;
    (April starting weight) divided by 100 multiplied by 4 = goal weight loss
    e.g. SW 189lbs
    189lbs x 0.04 = 7.6lbs weight loss goal

    2. For the final weigh-in, to calculate how much you ACTUALLY lost is;
    (Total weight loss) multiplied by 100 then divided by (April starting weight) = % lost
    e.g. Weight loss = 9lbs
    9lbs/189 x 100 = 4.8% off starting weight

    I'm confused. I'm 190lbs right now, I divided that by 100 and got 1.9. I then multiplied that by 4 and got 7.6? But that's what you got in the example one, though, and you put 189lbs. Is this right? So I need to lose 7.6lbs in April?

    I'm in! Joined one to lose 7 pounds this month already might as well add this one (8 lbs) to it! would LOVE to go down 9.8 though! that's my biggest goal this month! but.... will be happy long as I lose the 7.
