    I found out yesterday that Tenacious D is playing in Boston in July! You bet your @ss I bought tickets!!! :smokin:

    I'm going to see Tom Petty in Halifax in May.

    Better add Tenacious D to the list. Just told hubs about it and we're buying our tickets tonight :) Thanks for posting this!

    I'm going to AWOLNATION tonight!

    There are a couple modern rock music festivals this summer, bands haven't been announced but I will be going to both.

    I LOVE As I Lay Dying, but the bill they're playing on may cause skull damage from all the head-banging!:
    "Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival 2012 will feature Slipknot, Slayer, Motorhead, Anthrax, As I Lay Dying, The Devil Wears Prada, Asking Alexandria, Whitechapel, and High on Fire"
    Plus, I'll be the oldest guy there (well, except for the guys on stage - yeah, that's right I'm looking at you, Lemmy! lol).

    I saw Asking Alexandria 2 weeks ago...awesome show!

    Then, White Chapel, Miss May I, and After the Burial next month....EXCITED!

    Gordon Lightfoot in June here in Ottawa. It'll prob. be my only concert performance this year - funds are way too tight :(

    Thompson Square, Darius Rucker, & Lady A in Cleveland in June ... Chris Young, Jared Neimann, Miranda Lambert in Columbus in June ... Luke Bryan & Jason Aldean in Columbus in August ... and Lord knows where else. Love our summer concerts here in Ohio!

    I just saw them last weekend in NJ and am going to see them a few times this summer. It's not stupid how excited you are, it will be an amazing show, full of energy - and sexiness!!! :love: I don't think you're silly at all, I have a tank top that says "Mrs. Jason Aldean" - now THAT's silly! What can I say, I love that man!!

    Also going to see Zac Brown Band, Eric Church/Josh Thompson/Thompson Square/Joe Nichols, Justin Moore, and Toby Keith. Great summer for country!!!!!!!!!!!

    Jethro Tull is touring with Thick as a Brick for the first time since the 70s. I'm totally hitching a ride to Chicago with a bunch of dudes twice my age.

    And at some point this summer, Primus is going to be in my home-town. My roommate bought me tickets for that one. Yay!

    supposedly Coheed & Cambria is the opener in Denver. I hope that's a mistake and it's really Alice Cooper! :bigsmile:

    Im on Tap for DMB and Blues Traveler this Summer - and somehow, I bet I'll be roped into whatever Disney Band is going to be playing the PA County Fair Circuit this year (last year I saw Big Time Rush - the kids loved it, and I suppose it wasnt so terrible for me either....) Think the wife said something about All Star Weekend (or something like that) - I have no idea who that is...but I'll go to their show!

    i bought the country mega ticket for pittsburgh
    so ill see Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert...just to name a few.
    I'm a Rap/Hip hop R&B girl all they way...but theres nothin like a country concert :wink:

    Im also making SURE i go to Jimmy Buffett. :drinker:


    ETA: i forgot to mention, that if i find out Trey Songz is coming to Pittsburgh i'll cut off my left arm for tickets.

    Mastodon is touring with Opeth... I hope, I hope, I hope I can make it to this one. Mastodon's fine... but I've been an Opeth fan for many years and have never gotten to see them in concert.

    Also, Megadeth is going to be at our local Crawfish Boil. I'm debating on going just for that. I mean, on the one hand - it's Megadeth. On the other hand - it's Megadeth about 20 years past their prime... so I dunno.

    In the last couple months our 19 year old son, who is going into broadcasting at college, has been to Deep Purple and Van Halen. Kool & the Gang open for Van Halen and he said they were also fantastic. Wierd that my youngest loves the *ahem* older music that I grew up with. His girfriend has seen Usher and Prince in the last few months and is heading to see Aerosmith this summer

    I on the other hand am going to see Michael W. Smith in May, my taste in music is a little different that my offspring's these days lol
