my first concert was Poison, Great White, Ratt, and LA Guns in 1999. I was 17..I know it was a little after their time, but it was still the most awesome thing I have seen!!0

My first concert was Queensryche (the Empire tour) with Warrior Soul.
I was 19.
My kids' first concert was Van Halen with Sammy Hagar fronting.
They were 5 and 8.0 -
1992, Compton Terrace (AZ), Guns-N-Roses with Soundgarden. Still one of the best concerts I've ever seen.0

Billy Joel - "Glass Houses" Tour - 1980 at the then, BRAND NEW Joe Louis Arena (home of the Red Wings That was the first "go with my friends" concert ... "The Carpenters" at 'Pine Knob' with my parents when I was 12 doesn't count! :noway:0

My 1st concert was Korn.. I don't even know what I was thinking. I don't even listen to anything close to that kind of music. Rarely did then & I don't at all now. My best friend's did (still do).. I went with them.0

mid-80s - RUSH! Slept out for concert tickets... back when that was they way to do it if you wanted front row. Loved every minute of that concert!
I've seen them about 15 times - new album coming out next month, hopefully followed by another tour!
Hell Yeah! I am looking forward to the new album and seeing them for the 5th time!
Rush is the only major rock band that ive loved, wanted to see and havent seen.
Also, Philly ppl are really representing on this thread.

Let's see if i can remember the year, I was in the 6th grade, so maybe 89 or 90. I spent the night out side of Ticketmaster to get a New Kids on the Block Ticket. Then a few weeks later my mom dropped me off at the Kingdome and I saw them...alone.
Soon after that I discovered punk rock and never looked back.
Ah, yes the Kingdome!

I saw my first concert there as well. RUSH! In the mid 80's.
I've seen them about 6 times since then. I always look forward
to Neil's Drum solo...
