Really good with drained crushed canned pineapple. If you want to dress it up a bit, use some LF Cool Whip to ice. Really makes a nice dessert.

should you grease the pan, grease and flour the pan, or not do anything to the pan

Mmmm...sounds delicious! I'll need to try this. Not really an angel food fan, but love cherries.

This is very good. I've also made it with a can of crushed pineapple in light juices. Don't drain the juice, just mix it with the one step angel food and bake.

DO NOT grease the pan. Hubby likes it with blueberries instead.

Made it! Won't do it again  . I found it tooooooo tempting. It was delicious and every time I walked through the kitchen I wanted another little nibble. I'm just not there yet I guess.

OH WOW! I have done this with yellow cake mix and drizzeled with butter (ikr lol) it;s a quick cobbler. I can't wait to try this. I have a young child and I have been looking for healthy snacks for her and I to have as well as prepare together. She LOVES cherries but not the pie filling so much. I hope that if she has a hand in making it is would atleast try it. :) Thanks!

Very tasty....when fresh, though they are a little sticky. Found that after a day or so, they collapsed on themselves and turned into a sticky dense mess.....won't do these again.
  • Did you use a mixer or a wisk and does it have to be mixed really well. I want to try it as it sounds so awesome.

    Thanks
